- As a person who has done extreme vocals for 12+ years, Antti Boman’s vocal style is one of the hardest to emulate perfectly. Just as stated in the footnotes for Nespithe, no effects were used on my vocals in any way. You’re hearing phone, microphone, & field recorder audio along with the original track mixed together. I own no rights to the music.
One of the best albums imo, truly one of a kind. Perfect cover, truly amazing.
@@baileywoods7821 It really is!! Top ten DM records of all time for sure. Thanks for watching and your words mean a lot!!
Finally someone who gets it and isn't making some lame deathcore noises instead
Thanks bro 😂 Albeit I have definitely made some lame deathcore noises in the past.
one of the greatests metal albums ever made. I hope people keeps pushing music the same way demilich did @.@
@@pspsxcpp I hope so as well!
Awesome cover! Demilich has such a unique sound and you were able to replicate it astonishingly well.
Thanks man! It took a lot of listening to the vocals and changing my own vocals to match the tone of Antti. I appreciate the feedback!
Dude the liquid swords shirt is killer, sick cover
There is a reason why his name is the Genius… Thanks for watching brother!
Bro, to be wearing a liquid swords shirt while doing this. Hell yeah. Sounds sick
Gza is a legend. Thanks for watching bro!
ultra based
❤
Great job!! I like that you cover two bands I love that most people never heard of... Demilich and Rudimentary Peni. Keep it up!!
I really appreciate that man, thank you! As I stated in the video, I just love weird shit haha.
great and real vocal cover (holy shit!) for some legitimate outsider music.
Thank you my friend! I can’t say I was a fan of the vocals at first but the riffs kept me revisiting the album. Once I read the lyrics & that there were no effects used on this record, I HAD to duplicate the vocals!
holy shit the madman actually did it, great cover /m/
Thank you!!
Antti's vocals have perplexed many people around the Internet! It's amazing that you got it down so well. You should show how you did it
Thank you!! It’s true. His vocals are extremely unique, brutal and complex. It took a lot of listening and conditioning to understand how to do it. So, that’s a great idea, I will definitely make a video trying to explain how I got that tone.
@@Houstonfontes please do. I've been focusing on getting to this technique but haven't found it yet. It feels a bit off and I would l'd like to know if I'm on the right path.
Thank you @Shiloh’s Metal Crypt & @Krazycrismore! Check out my newest video! I hope it gives some insight on the process.
Antti was the first to do it and maybe the only one for a long time@@Houstonfontes
Awesome and I like your description of the album too. I definitely like my death metal disgusting and I like it weird so combining those is a sure win for me.
@@neandrewthal Yessir!!!
Trying to get down on these vocals. Planning to do a Mortal Decay vox cover soon
Do it! It’s all diaphragm & tight throat control. Thanks for watching!
Just posted a Demilich vocal lesson on my channel if you’re interested on some insight to my technique!
Amazing
Thank you!!!
Damn good job!!!
Thank you!
You are totally amazing!
Hails
Thank you so much!!!
@@Houstonfontes 🥰🤘
Holy fuck that's amazing
Thanks for the compliment & thanks for watching!!!
Damn😔🤛
I hope you liked it my friend!
what did you do to get this sound?
For my actual vocals or the recording?
@@Houstonfontes the vocals
I am using a deep gutteral tone that’s pushed from my diaphragm with my throat affixed to let air through. Literally to give that frogish rumble that Antti had perfected.
Hello! I just posted a vocal lesson on my channel discussing these style vocals if you’re interested!
