- That day we faced the hardest stage of the trip. We were going to drive from Almeria to Midelt. With the 8h ferry to enter Morocco via Almeria-Nador it was going to be a long day... you never know if it will leave or arrive on time. You also don't know how long it will take to cross the border into Morocco by car via Nador. That's the price you have to pay to travel to Morocco by 4x4 to enjoy driving through the desert, driving in sand and driving over the dunes.
Morocco by car can be an exciting adventure. This time, we were surprised how quiet it was. After crossing the border, we expected chaotic traffic, but that was not the case. Morocco had changed...

Nosotros solemos bajar muchisimo a Marruecos con la furgo, creo que esta última vez ( hace un par de semanas que regresamos ) debe ser la 15 o 16 escapada al pais.
Salimos de Barcelona y siempre cruzamos por Tarifa.
En la próxima igual nos planteamos ir por Nador o bien bajar en Ferry desde Barcelona como ya hicimos en otra ocasión.
Solo hemos conducido una vez por la noche y nunca más, eso si eran comarcales y no veas que peligro..
La N15 que llega a Midlet está bastante bien y durante el dia puedes disfrutar de bonitos paisajes y pequeñas poblaciones.

Conducir por la noche en Marruecos es una aventura. Este año era la 6a vez que iba con el Toyota y me sorprendió muchísimo. El país estaba totalmente cambiado... el tráfico en Nador no era nada caótico. De hecho no había...
Nunca he cruzado por Tarifa y este año probablemente lo haga desde allí porque me quedará más cerca. Es fácil cruzar por allí? El barco dura poco rato, verdad?
