But John Marston isn’t skinny.. he’s just lean lol. Like for example in undead nightmare with John and the undead hunter outfit. You get to see that John is pretty well built. John isn’t as big as Arthur but John is in no way skinny. He’s just a lean individual like a lot of athletes today. I know that’s not the major issue with him, but people get “skinny” for just being lean mixed up.
John has a tiny corpse compared to arthur after the Patch that changed him to have arthur corpse the best option is get him skinny because he looks more tiny than arthur and is closer of john body than normal weight

The character model for John in 1899, NPC John, looked good. I don't understand why they had to change his model for the epilogue. Is it because of the hair growth and weight gain/loss features? Don't understand and am genuinely curious.
No reasons gui proved the actually got a working model that was made for 1907 has his own hair growth system weight gain/loss with some work in 2 weeks would be working for every console player
On my game I don't need to fix anything on John's og cowboy clothes except the shirt because I'm playing on the 1.00 version he has the right facial hair and mire realistic eyes than the recent versions
@@Bithe_Get I figured there was bugs on 1.00. I know your Horse can glitch and you can die on 1.00 and lose it. Someone lost his Chapter 2 Horse and had to beat the game with the Horse you get after Guarma.

I might have found the perfect pants for John in Epilogue, take the all black ranch pants ( you can find them in many general stores, i bought these in Tumbleweed or Armadillo i think ) a moment my character's clothes were really dirty due to the mud in Valentine. I fast traveled directly to Armadillo, then i got dust all around my outfit, the all black ranch pants with dust covered looks a bit like the RDR1 pants
The funny thing is, for the gloves, there is another version of the gloves in the vanilla game, like in this patch rn. The same color, the same everything. Just the size is different and when i used this alternate glove, the gloves were restored. This just shows rockstar’s laziness to the point we have to make fixes ourselves. #ReviveRDR2
I'm a console player and I have to use John's hair in the 'buzzed' style. John with short hair doesn't feel right, but it looks far better than Arthur's hair.
Speaking of both body composition and attitude, John reminds me of Clint Eastwood characters, while Arthur reminds me of John Wayne characters in Western movies.

I might've figured out a way to get johns beta/npc scalp to consistently spawn (1.00 only of course) but you'll have to jump through some hoops to get to that point if your interested in testing this potential method out (I haven't had the chance or I would've tested this already)
@@CashCarStar24 First thing look up "How to Install Older PS4 Game Updates on Any PS4" (video from 2-3 years ago) follow the instructions to a T & download patch 1.05 now once you've done that make your john underweight, save & revert back to 1.00 (the new theory's that his head is stuck at perfect weight on 1.00 so when you revert it gives you his beta scalp (this also isn't my theory btw) now pomade your hair before going into the barber then select blad now pomade again then go back'n hover over bald then go'n do things (can't fight or get kicked by a horse during this time) until it says your pomade has worn off, now apply some more pomade, go to the barber one last time & u should be able to select any hairstyle u want & enjoy if this does work.

This is another reason of why I haven't gotten out of chapter 2. I just can't lose Arthur again and see the gang crumble into pieces just to gain an horrible looking John Marston that barely resembles his RDR 1 counterpart. 6:01 actually you can get John’s original hair color on Vanilla. You just have to get the Swept Back style and pomade it, and it appears as John’s brown hair (if ya didn’t know).
Dude I've gotta thank you for this, especially since you care about console players (like me). Sure your design for John is no where near as good as the modded version but it's not like you can do any better. It sucks not being able to have mods on consoles
I found a way to do the signature pose on consoles without mods. Just quickly turn around to your left and do a 360 real quick and aim. Pause your game at the perfect time that you think he’s doing the pose and go into photo mode and get the camera at the right position. Hope this helps.
Tbh I don't really like the look with John's 1899 hair, I think the one at 2:42 is the best since it's the closest to 1911 John (the classic). It just makes sense to look more like his rdr1 appearance since the epilogue only 4 years earlier, compared to the main story of rdr2 which is 12 years earlier.
@@Bithe_Get Exactly, they should've made a list of hairstyles that fit with John scalp and how his hair grows but they cut corners and just used Arthur's hairstyles which is why he has the same scalp.
Rockstar should've really just remastered John's character model and imported all his animations from the first game into RDR2, that way I would've felt like I switched from Arthur and I'm really playing as JOHN MARSTON, not Arthur Marston. New players too could've warmed up to playing as John in the end if they saw he actually his own set of animations, look, line delivery, and own brand of badass.

I really don't get why would they make from John Marston John Morgan? Why did rockstar not even care about John's appearance, could've thought about fans opinions. Most of the things vanilla John has is by Arthur, not only clothes but it feels like he is in him. I appreciate mod makers cuz if not them i would get sick everytime i load the epilogue save.

I think rockstar Scrapped And Just replaced John’s head with Arthur’s body Because of how they delayed the game a few times and wanted to release it on time so they just cropped it on Arthur’s body and called it a day

Although in red dead redemption 2 you got a vast amount of clothes and outfits for your character the way you like, I also made the point of getting my John Marston's character with his classic outfit in red dead redemption 1, with some modifications of course. Big time!

For the hair, I used right part fade at max length because I think the sides of that and the side of RDR1 John's hair match up better

Rockstar should've really just remastered John's character model and imported all his animations from the first game into RDR2, that way I would've felt like I switched from Arthur and I'm really playing as JOHN MARSTON, not Arthur Marston.
New players too could've warmed up to playing as John in the end if they saw he actually his own set of animations, look, line delivery, and own brand of badass.
No that would crash the game they had rdr1 new made anims and a ok john model with his own hair growth and beard system but they cutted in the end

I meant while they were still in development, not directly import animations but rather create new ones that resemble John's from the first game that to distinguish his gameplay from Arthur's.

I really don't get why would they make from John Marston John Morgan? Why did rockstar not even care about John's appearance, could've thought about fans opinions. Most of the things vanilla John has is by Arthur, not only clothes but it feels like he is in him. I appreciate mod makers cuz if not them i would get sick everytime i load the epilogue save.
Just wanted to say john in rdr1 did have the tear in his trousers but it was a lot smaller

E se eu atualizar o game após a versão 1.00 e estiver cm o John cm o traje personalizado mais próximo o possível do traje padrão de caçador de recompensas do John marston do red dead redemption 2010 que aqui é chamado de "caubói " a roupa continua igual ou ela fica essa porcaria ?! De luvas gigantes e a barba diferente do John marston e tals ?! Pq cm o Arthur Morgan eu fiz isso é conseguiu usar a calça sobre as botas coisa que só dá pra fazer na versão 1.00 .

Johns pants all ways had a repair it's just hard to notice because the dirt
I think rockstar Scrapped And Just replaced John’s head with Arthur’s body Because of how they delayed the game a few times and wanted to release it on time so they just cropped it on Arthur’s body and called it a day
but in rdr1 john had that patch in the pants
I know ppl already said that 100 times sorry i didnt notice as the color of the patch in rdr1 was much more similar to the pants color

@@MrBates-le1ql I have my friend, unfortunately it just respawns after loading a save. The hammer holder thing seems to stay upon reloading it seems.
@@grant4190 yeah rockstar makes it unnecessarily complicated. The only way to make it stay off permanently is to not shut your console off.

John look alright on 1.00 and with the scalp glitch and swap back pomade it looks like john's rdr1 hair i just wish i could get it to work without save wizard
