I built a smaller portable vacuum unit that's lighter so I can just lift it and slide it into the back of my truck instead of needing a ramp to haul it. I show the steps of building it.
Love this set up. Im looking to do something similar for my route. Curious how light it is to cart around in my truck pool to pool. Ive thought about getting a carrier with a ramp attached to my hitch. Or Ill scratch it all and just get a riptide! haha I just dont think the Riptide can get all the finer debris sand and dirt.

A Riptide or Hammerhead won't get the fine silt and dead algae, you will have to get some sort of unit similar to this to vacuum to waste.
