Intro song: Glitching Through the Sky - William Benckerk
#fnaf #spiff #glitch - Hry
The scary part isn't how intimidating the animatronics are (they really aren't) it's how unpredictable they are. Just vibin, docile, then they just break into a sprint directly toward you.
i know, it's so weird
My favorite part of the game.😊
I legit thought they were non-hostile for a good night and a half lmao

😂😂
i don't think it's great

I feel like this game has huge potential. But seriously how does it straddle the line between “unique and complex” and “slapped together in 5 minutes”
thats more impressive than a pure expierence making it be kind off both
@@randomprotag9329 eh....not really
You know the Blast Furnace idea is awesome as hell. A big pit of burner robot with the souls of children and springlock victims is actually kinda cool.
large scope games made by a single person hurriedly with premade assets in a nutshell
The base stuff is from the Unreal Engine Horror Engine, which basically gives you all the tools to have movement, shooting, item physics, locks+puzzles etc, and all you have to do is drag and connect things together to create a level, then drag in the models n such. So that probably gives it the Slapped together feeling. The ideas and other stuff are really unique tho
Would love to see a "proper" playthrough because it's really difficult to tell what's *supposed* to happen lol
You can tell it's gonna be scuffed when a non-VR game boots SteamVR on startup.
its soo weird, i had the hello neighbor alpha do that. but it actually ran in vr. i mean it was kinda broken but it rendered properly and whatevs
Usually indicative of an asset flip, UE games will run on vr because they didn’t check a very obvious box to not run in vr in the game engine

Yeah, that means it's gonna be fun
This game accurately portrays matpats mind when making fnaf lore vids
LMAO true 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Hey spiff thanks for playing my game. I appreciate the feedback you have given here and I am glad people had fun. that's what I wanted. I guess I should clarify some things here too so people can understand my strange mind.
I should address the bugs. There are plenty of bugs in the game caused for many reasons. Honestly if I just made the player stay in the office or optimized the map better for free roam most of them wouldn't occur. But I didn't end up doing that because I had too much fun screwing with the AI and I felt it would be better to just let people the play the way they wanted to play the game. I did have testers test things and they helped fixed alot of stuff but we couldn't get all of the bugs and as a dev I often don't think like a player so often times I forget "oh maybe they could stand on a table for the whole night since I have given them the option too."
So For my next game that has also been working on for the past 3 years. I hope to actually fix more bugs and make the AI better. I will say FNACPW's AI is a big step up from Fredbear's 2 in terms of the uniqueness. Each animatronic has a different ability. Showtime freddy can throw his plushies on the map and showtime baby can turn camo. ETC that is a step in the right direction and if I could polish that up for future games that could work really well.
I should also say there is actually supposed to be an intended office gameplay where you close doors at right times and use keypads but I didn't communicate that well to the player so in Fredbear's 3 I hope to improve on that and I think using a mask from fnaf 2 would work much better for free roam.
Now I should clarify this importantly Most of the assets in the game are from UE4 store either bought from me or gotten from a free month. I credited any models, textures or music used to their respective creators. That's why the credits is so long. Because not only did I have alot of assets be used for the project. But I also Had some help from people who volunteered for that stuff.
I did actually make some of the models though or edit some of the existing ones. For example, The withered funtimes, I had to do that myself because nobody made any withered animatronics for them so I edited some of the models we already had and it was the most fun week I had last year. I am the only one who in their mind who will put a mermaid tail on baby.
I should also explain the fever dream aspects. "Why is their sonic everywhere?, Why is there halo everywhere, Why is their a megalodon in the true hero ending" is questions I keep seeing. The main reason is that I just really like these other franchises and I wanted to give them attention in the universe. I know its out of the place and I know it makes no sense but I just personally liked having sonic be canon to the fnaf lore. Besides I feel like that stuff gives my games charm and uniqueness to them. A lot of people tell me they liked that aspect of them. So I don't plan on changing the fever dream thing because I feel like that would ruin the charm my games have to people. The other reason is because I honestly don't really find fnaf scary so I kind of don't take the tone seriously alot of the time.
So yeah thanks for playing the game. sorry for my long ass ramble. I just wanted to explain things. thank you for playing the game and giving criticism. Thank you for being nice about it. It really helps me understand what I may have done wrong and where I can improve. Thank you!
Good luck on future projects. This was all in all a very unique experience in all it's ups and downs. You've got potential!
Well thanks for bringing the greatest strangest game experience I ever laid eyes upon.
I Definitely won’t forget it.
It’s better than anything I could’ve made.
The game here I wouldn't say is bad, simply unpolished. If you did this all on your own, with a few borrowed assets, that's pretty damn good. Good luck in future projects
You know what? If you are the real creator then I applaud you. At the end of the day you made something that was thoroughly enjoyable to witness and it's clear that there was a lot of fun and passion put into it.
Keep doing you man, you've got potential!
The 'Circus Clown Shootout' minigame blended 2D and 3D really well, I think that one could even work as a stand alone game
in every fnaf thing, chica oriented games always makes me feel like i'm on drugs
she's got that touch of madness that the others just don't have
chica's feeding frenzy
why they doing this to my girl chica though. she really needs a good or at least decent fan game for god's sake
@@starchaser777 100% agree but a quick addition: I think she deserves a good game that also makes you feel like you’re on drugs.
@@starchaser777 Well atleast there's always Chica simulator.
As an artist, the 3D in this hops from really nice quality to shitty GMod, and the 2D is unironically the embodiment of the "graphic design is my passion" meme.
It's a VERY interesting blend of amazing quality and "my 8 year old sibling made this in 5 minutes." I'm not sure if this makes it better or worse, but it sure as hell makes it more entertaining. I'm not a programmer, so I can't say much on the actual gameplay, but MAN does this look scuffed as hell at a lot of points. It's clear to me that this developer has potential, but maaaybe this game needed a bit more time in the oven.
i am pretty sure that most of the models are stolen from 3rd party websites. the only good looking area, the cargo/factory thing which looked like really good (at near 21:00), was just stolen from an asset kit.
you can basically tell it is mostly stolen assets because most assets don't fit with each other. another example is the mini-games. like look at the one in which you are in a desert with a gun. none of the assets there fit.
edit : honestly, if people just asset flip, it's fine to a point. like if you do it for a few games and then start making your own art, models, etc. then it is fine. but i have played this guys games for quite a while and they all feel the exact same quality, if not worse. this game even has misspellings of very easy-to-spell words.
@@theunium not necessarily stolen, they could have been bought from the Unity store.
@@TheMegaxPlus pretty sure this game is made in unreal engine
@@theunium Yeah, I can all but guarantee that a large portion of these models/textures are stolen or gotten through asset packs/people uploading free to use models, I just didn't want to outright call it out in my comment.
Pretty much all of the characters save for the MC at the end and I guess the giant caterpillar thing look like they were downloaded from some of those DeviantArt pages that reupload MMD ports of the models (and judging by how the MC looks, that probably isn't too far off).
I guess it's fine to a point since this seems like either a kid or just someone inexperienced, and he said in the thing Spiff read that this is all really just for fun. That said, I think that people should put some level of effort and creativity into their projects so they can make something they're proud of.
They managed to make it feel like a AAA game and one of those “games” on a kids movie CD at the same time.
Oh you know the commonly used cd video format
This game gives me real "we stole all the assets" vibes. No way the same people who made this actually are that good at 3D modeling, but just 'forgot' to use it for anything other than the animatronics.
The chair the character is sitting on in the True Hero ending is directly ripped from the TF2 taunt "Rancho Relaxo". It's the same chair, same beers, same toolbox on the bottom. And the blue Chica model is a fanmade thing from when she was mentioned in the hidden messages from the Sister Location era but before Pizza Sim gave her a proper model.
the creator of the game left a comment under here actually explaining a ton of things! A lot of the assets are taken from other places but every single thing used was credited, which resulted in a suuuper long credits list, but the creator also made some of the models themselves and had some volunteer help as well, the comment they left was very interesting to read through so i'd recommend taking a minute to look for it :)
The gf modeled everything
@@NotEvenNoah she told me she did JJ, Springchica and a few others I forget. She gave me the models and I used them.
the good thing about some of the models is they didn't work with mixamo so I decided to do hand animate them all from scratch. I should have done that for all of them in hindsight like I do with my ark dinosaurs and my halo stuff. but Theres always next time after Fredbear's 3 for that.
And the sonic sound effects and music

Upd:
This game was not so much an asset flip, as mostly just a shitpost.
Since people neither paid attention to my remark about knowing nothing about developer or development of the game, nor read comments other people had left in replies, (including dev's own), I feel like I must reinstate this here, seeing as this is somehow one of the top comments, and it probably will also serve as a good place to clear some things up.
@jurassicarkjordanisgreat1778 mostly made this game for themselves and a bunch of friends and fans, as well as to try and get people into some other games they love, from which assets were supposedly "stolen". However, all used assets, including "ripped" ones, are free to use and/or never were advertised as original. In fact, the "game" itself is absolutely free for anybody to download and try for themselves, making no profit for the dev.
While somebody might argue, that just having a game advertises them and holds value in that, but... I mean, look at it. What kind of advertisement is this? Though, seeing as nobody read the comments before, I will just put this at the first line. Btw, sorry for calling it a "shitpost", dev (I'm *not* writing this nickname out again), but that's just not my type of humour. Unfortunately, due to FNaF being FNaF, the game, purpousefully made to attract attention, blew up out of proportion and became somewhat famous, or, rather, infamous in the community.
If you've taken your time to read so far, I hope you gained a bit more understanding as to what this game is and why it doesn't deserve to be judged as harshly as it is, calling it an "asset flip" or a "scam". Or you got even more confused by my futile attempt to communicate as a decent human being. Anyway, I will be leaving my original comment below, since I'm no white knight, and just as much of an ignorant twat, as everybody else shouting "asset flip" with no rhyme or reason.
Original:
This game feels like a massive asset flip. I dunno anything about its development, but I'm feeling ready to bet a tenner devs just bought completed models or paid some freelancer to make those, and got physics off of store, then filled gaps with whatever they could make up in their lap.
It looks like a game made in Gary's mod
Half of the assets and sound effects are from sonic games and the other half look like regular unity stuff, it's so weird

It also uses a lot of different music and sound effects taken directly from Halo. I had a trip when I heard the active camo sound in this game.
The stupid clown shootout was literally just mirage saloon from sonic mania they actually just took the sprites from sonic mania
My best guess is that this is someone who took a Unity course, got a lot of good input and instructions on how to make basic functions for various mini-games (which is likely where a lot of the AI comes from, especially with it's path-finding) and everything else is a hodge-podge of this developer's own know-how and "graphic design". There was someone in a college class I took that had tried to combine Portal 2 and FNAF assets to make a game. So I can very much see where this... combination of good and bad could've come from.
NEVERMIND, didn't see the unreal engine crash until now, but the entire point still stands. Especially for the later stages, where I'm almost positive those final rooms were total asset flips.
Just a question... Was the Portal 2/FNaF game good? And is it publicly available?
Coming from a game dev background, this video has made me realize that while modern game engines have allowed even children to make games. That doesn't really mean they can make GOOD games
It's both good and bad but at least they had their fun while we be like "?????????????"
It’s a free game made for fun. It’s not like their selling it for 60 bucks and claiming it’s the best thing ever. Don’t be such a dick.

I think the reason it’s scuffed is that it utilizes “Horror Engine”, which is a UE4/5 project that helps you make horror games but the creator modified it and it created bugs.
it's not obv but if you look at the writings, it's unity default font which more confusing considering the fact that how unbalanced some of the graphics are.

Getting to experience this live was a massive adventure. I think I actually lost my sense of reality at “Niagara Falls Speedyway”. At least you can tell the creator was having fun with making this project.
Niagara Fal- NIAGRA FALLS OF ALL PLACES WHAT.
I love that place. Its near where I live in canada. I always imagined stardust speedway played there. So I created niagara falls speedway
Hey hey! It's Mr. Creator themselves! Happy to see you here!
And that's quite neat to learn. It truly is unique. :)
It's called Niagra falls, but the background image has the space needle in it, a building from Seattle on the literal exact opposite side of the country, which is even better!

I still can’t get over at 26:23 hes just sitting on engineers recliner from tf2
The section with the ware house, from around 20 minutes, is an asset package from unreal's asset store. The entire map seen in the game is the demo map, included with the package.
While the asset package costs money, Epic had a month long deal on it, where you can get it for free.
The concept is there. A classic "defend the room" FNaF game, but you can also leave the office during the night? It could work really well. But this game does not work and it's the greatest thing ever.
Fan games where you can leave the office have been around for years.

This was the best worst game to watch you play on stream. The moment I started doubting this whole stream was real is when the mermaid baby nonchalantly crawled across the screen. This whole game is a glorious trainwreck
This is one of those incredible games where you cant tell if the creator has mastered the art of shitposting or if it is fully genuine, and for that it is a piece of art
This mod uses so Much sonic stuff its kind of funny. From using Perfect Chaos screams to straight up having Hydrocity, it really is a fever dream of a mod.
i just watched the vod for this stream yesterday, it was so much fun. this game is v obviously a passion project from a talented amateur who was more invested in putting together assets than making a cohesive fan game for public consumption (hence why half of the game is a stealth 3d first person sonic game). that said, animatronics like mermaid baby make me lose my god damn mind lmao
I am gonna be real, all the "good" looking parts of the game just look like asset flips, that is why the rest of the game look like that

i saw this fangame everywhere so i just assumed it was really good. to say actually seeing it was whiplash is an understatement.
Gotta love how much this game unapologetically takes from Sonic the Hedgehog. There's so many Sonic sound effects, the enemies in the shootout mini game are pixelated(slightly bustier) Rouge models copy pasted, the stage is Mirage Saloon from Mania, and JJ's stage is Hydro City, with an added background from Angel Island from Sonic 3
This game is so much of an asset flip that I almost admire it. Like you can tell _every single_ well made part of this was taken from somewhere else. From the graphics, the shaders, the physics, the movement, the animations, the item menu, the buttons, all the minigame code... And then the dev duct taped a game together with it
I think i got what gamedev tried to achieve with this game. Looking at this game must be as physically painful as pain felt by all of the Aftons victims.

19:56 definitely does, like
I think the reason why the factory area looks good is because it’s a stock map or something, it was used to make another game where you had to fill up a bar on each of Freddy's limbs, shock him if he gets too close to moving and turn the power back on when it gets out all while the factory was the map.
I love how this whole game HEAVILY uses the Sonic 3 sound effects

You know in a group project how you have one person who's really talented, and one person who threw their stuff together last second? And you can easily see who worked on what parts? This game feels like that.
This is the type of scuffed that spiff thrives off of

Every fanart of Rouge the Bat in a nutshell.
I am loving all the Genesis Sonic game assets during the minigames and ""lore"" cutscenes
There was sonic mania assets there as well
I unironically think we need more games like this. Just a dev putting shit together because they have fun with it (and want others to have the same).
I'm convinced this started as a Sonic fan game, considering all the borrowed elements like the music and SFX; then last minute they decided it needs more FNaF.

I watched the VOD and was absolutely losing my mind at every turn, this game was amazing in all the worst ways.
This game is like... peak asset ripping. Just find a bunch of good, decent, or passable models and slap them together into a thing.
At about 10:41, the inventory thing used is from a free “horror engine” made for UE5.
I loved watching this last stream, it was such a decent game with an actually good play style but the textures and story were just so random at times, also I know your cam was placed there because of the wario game but I actually kinda like it there.
The animatronics in this game definitely have code that tries to prevent you from standing on things to avoid them, seems to be that they have defined points to walk to that will kill you if you're above them?
Lolbit running towards the player just keeps reminding me of that one scene from Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs every single time

I swear this game is made by the same dev(s) that made the insanely scuffed Five Nights At Fredbear's games, which if anything is even more of a mindfuck than Chica's Party World.
You're correct
Ok so I think I figured out the bug with standing on tables or going to the end of the stalls to avoid death, the animatronics are programmed to go the where you first entered a unreachable location, and if you are too far away from that location your hit box will go to that location it’s kind of like the Big Rock on the MVM map Big Rock
Sinking Iron is a game made by Markiplier's editor Lixian, based off of Iron Lung, Lixian said himself that its like FNaF
For some reason the way they run was both the most creepy part of this but also so fucking hilarious at the same time
I think the funniest part about this game is how a quarter of the assets are from classic sonic games
“Graphic Design is my passion: the FNAF fangame”
This guy has made so many of these types of games, and they're kind of charming, even though they're not the most wellmade
On the other hand It's kinda sad. There are like 20 games just like this, and the guy doesn't even try to improve anything in the next ones, because youtubers will play and attract attention to it regardless of quality and he always can say "oh it was just for fun, yes that was intentional". The difference in the model quality between the animatronic models (clearly sourced from somewhere else cause chraracters are a pain in the ass to model at the best of times) and the weird mspaint looking vhs cutscenes (that were obviously actually made for the game) definitely shows that the dev isn't much of an artist. This dev would make a wonderful adventure platformer game similar to Jak and Daxter. The oddball design of some of the level designs really remind me of older games like that.
This feels like a school project where everyone is good at different things but nobody was a leader and none of it meshes.
this game feels like it has a massive identity crisis. it SOUNDS like it's trying to be a retro game with the sega genesis soundfont and the retro grame sound effects meanwhile it looks like it's trying to be like security breach but just scuffed to all hell. somehow more scuffed than SB
