These guys get better & better whether it's when I was a 10 year old child listening to her dad's Showaddywaddy Lps or as an adult listening to them all the time on You tube & Spotify. Thanks to all of you for giving us so much listening pleasure over the years. Loved seeing you at the folk festival you were outstabding. It poured with rain but I danced & sung along with such enthusiasm xx
bless simon bellwood from your favorite album still miss you keeping the good times rocking and rolling still a teddy boy and always will be RIP mate till we meet again
Fantastic tune , used the line i would like to paint your on my mirror so I'd see your reflection when I'm down , as a chat up line, it worked very well , 5 yrs of happiness , sadly she passed away yesterday
Yes but it's better to have loved and lost, than never to have fallen in love, my auntie died a virgin, as an old women, she fell in love with a man, who went to war, and never returned bless.
@@nickprica3127 cheers pal! just wondering cause this tune I love! a masterpiece in my opinion! I did not know if this was a cover or not! I first heard this tune when I received the 1976-1978 greatest hits album on vinyl as a Christmas gift! And to me their best track ever! ironically so to me because most of their other tracks were covers if my knowledge is correct!?
Still one of the Wards greatest We won't forget you Will (Buddy Gask) you were as much part of Showaddywaddy as any of the other founder members! You were as great as they were!!

The third track from the fantastic Trocadero-album, sung by Dave Bartram. It bring back lovely memories of the seventies 😍

Contrary to other replies, this was NOT written by Bill Gask. It was 100% written by Dave Bartram.
Dumbest band name I have ever seen lol lets see if they had some good tunes though time to do a dive:P
the name might be dumb mate, but they sang some awesome songs. and not just covers either.
