Great video I used to work for Amazon as an Associate. They have an option to become a manager after working as a PA for 2 years if you don't have a bachelor's. I decided to leave and do something else but I still wouldn't mind being a manager. But 2 years is a long time

I live in Richmond TX there are 2 amazon facilities near me, they never have jobs on there website.
It is harder when there are fewer locations in your area. Keep checking hiring.amazon.com because peak season is right around the corner, and that's when they are hiring a lot.

Keep checking! They will be hiring alot for peak season. You may need to check further out depending on how many locations are in your area. Good luck

Peak season usually last from mid Nov to mid March. It's Amazon's Holiday/Busy time.

I have successfully completed a drug test and background at my first hiring appointment , but after I got home that day I saw that a new position became available that is more closer to my are, so I iimmediiately applied. My question is;, do I still need to attend the pre-hire appointment?
Most likely, yes, because you haven't started yet. Your other option is to start at the 1st location and then put in for a transfer to the other one once eligible.

When searching on hiring.amazon.com, I try not to put to many filters and see everything available. I've found a position that is only 5mins farther out but pays more. Also peak is coming so keep checking. They will be hiring alot. Good luck!

I live in Houston and I’ve been trying to work for Amazon since 2021 and it always says “not available”
Really the best time to get hired is seasonal. I was checking every day in October around the 20th and nothing and next thing I think the 27th Jobs galore start popping up and takin very quickly! I was checking the next few days out of curiosity and saw plenty of jobs, but each day the posts were slowing down. The jobs I wanted and location went quickly it caught me by surprise so I picked a job I didn't know much about cause I didn't want to lose out on the opportunity.
I just got multiple offers and reject some and accept a few

@@EnjoyingLifesJourney They’ve been hiring in my area lately but the building is 35 minutes away. My parents can’t take me out there yet since it’s far. There is a fulfillment center that I did work at 10-15 mins from my house. Sadly that one is never hiring but I hope they hire more since Prime Week is coming up soon. 🤔🤞🏾🤞🏾
How long it takes for background check to come back
Usually pretty fast, no longer than the start date they put.

i live in San Antonio and the same for me.
Probably just gotta keep checking cause they go quick. When I applied for seasonal within a minute or less the jobs I applied for were gone. The location s I wanted to work at were gone cause I reading the job description and hrs and next thing I know they're all gone. Eventually I got job there though not close to home, but not to far. 14 miles out.

We do have Spanish only speaking and Deaf people working at my location. Amazon does a great job with accommodations.

Im not sure. When you went for your ID picture, that would have been a good time to ask. Otherwise, I don't think so because they pick date's based on need and try to have a group of people start at the same time.

What i dont like is that when you pick a schedule,it doesnt tell you what position youre applying for.
You do not get a choice. That is why they are never listed. Once you become Blue badge, you get choices.
How are the jobs though from stower to waterspider to package handler
I can't talk on all positions, but I like my current one the best, which is sort flow for AFE at a fulfillment center. I've done picking at another fulfillment center, and I've done almost all positions at sort centers. I also only work part time.

commenting this again i put a link by accident im at the background check stage and amazon gave me this reference number to this thing called accurate website where they do background checks, i dont have to do anything additional to this background check right? or do i have to give Accurate my information? idk what to do i got so confused

It usually doesn't take longer than two weeks. If you can set up your appointment for the drug test I would do that while your waiting.

it’s probably jst gonna be normal interview questions, like what are ur weakness and strength and like why u want to work for amazon. jst think of all the questions they may ask and have a answer ready

It was most likely filled. Just keep looking for a shift, they will be hiring a lot over the next few months for peak(Holiday/busy) season.

No, just need an ID
They didn't ask for one. You must be 18yrs or older, have the right identification to work in your area, pass a background check and pass a drug screen.

What if nothing shows up for me?
Keep checking daily. During slow times, the positions go fast. During peak Aug-Dec, there are usually a lot more positions.

Can you work at an Amazon warehouse and work a walker dsp delivery position partnered with Amazon at the same time?
Not sure, I have heard people say yes. What I do know is you cannot work as an independent flex driver through Amazon and work at a warehouse, from personal experience.

I applied online. Waited about three years or so. I just so happened to check my account. There was an opening for grocery warehouse. I didn’t receive additional pay like everyone received. I was so happy! I start next month. I hope Amazon opens a driver position in grocery so I can deliver. I’ve applied it been over 5 years waiting to get back in.I haven’t had a real job in years. I had an offer before but no money to move. I was robbed of my data networks up here. My money missing under a false identity in technology. I’m missing 10 million plus $1000-$3000 from state to state🎉:)

Ranges from $15 to $18.50. In Tx, they’re paying part time (16-20 hrs) $16.50. For 16 hrs, you’ll be making $1056 before taxes.
