It's one thing to leave a gun unlocked/unsecured, but to leave it loaded where kids can obviously access it? Totally irresponsible and preventable situation.

@@brianhissong7215no, a child lost his life. Charges are being brought against those who were negligent. The disrespectful comments are unnecessary. People are hurting. Now that the story is out- it was a child who did this, not an adult. So to put out a false narrative really shifts blame when it's completely unnecessary. An innocent child lost his life and another is now scarred for life.

Why is there no update on this?? I've looked everywhere! Very unusual for no update, no comments, nothing. I unfortunately heard it was self-inflicted. Very sad.

@kenrobart786 That's truly awful. Law enforcement should give an update to clear up all the rumors that this sweet little boy was able to easily access the weapon & accidentally fired it at himself. True or not, maybe it will remind others about the importance of gun safety😞
@@corigould2166it wasn't an accident. Unfortunately the family did not practice the property laws set for safety. There were several other factors found that pointed towards the family's neglect. The child that did the act needed help that he was not getting to begin with.
It was no accident. He knew where the firearm was. Because the grandparents often left it there. Loaded.
Instead of ever getting the child help, the family fed into his love of ending the life of animals and creatures. At 6.
The words he said to the 5 year old before ending his life?
No 6 year old should have access. No 6 year old should witness the things that boy apparently did.
This was no "accident", Ken, sir. This was pure neglect. This was pure bad parenting, lack of care.. and now one child took another.

We've never had any problem with people, it's only been with Oakland County, Michigan deputies!
