Fantastic way to put it.
I never watched a lot of his stuff, but the little bit I did see (and a few collabs with various people) showed me how humble and caring he is. He seems like such a down to earth guy who cares about _so much_ in his life, and isn't afraid to wear his heart on his sleeve.
I'm glad that he's able to enjoy a peaceful retirement (of sorts) with his family!

That part was really touching. Here you have a man whose greatest regret he'll admit to is sitting down for thirty minutes. And he's not afraid of death so much as he is of maybe never seeing his wife again.

Same. It's a valid fear, though.
I feel it as caring the most about the people and things you love, and all that you have in your life; because without those attachments and bonds, who are you really? Caring deeply for those around you helps keep me grounded.
At the same time, I never really get death anxiety of myself dying, it's always of those around me. Losing a close family member, or friends, pets, etc...
I've been to plenty of funerals in my life, and had to say goodbye to a few pets, but I still get worried sick sometimes of losing that which I care for, but have grown to stop worrying about my own mortality.
