Unfortunately i haven't seen her now for 2 weeks.😢😢 they only live 2 years and she has been coming here for almost 2 years. Thank you Debbie, that is so sweet of you to say. She was such a feisty girl and i really miss her. The original male and this female are both dead now unfortunately. It is sad they only live 2 year's. I was hoping they would have blessed me with little Joey's but it never happened. I was so excited to have a newcomer show up at my garage that i have been feeding just enough to keep him interested in a good place to lay his head down on cold winter nights. I enjoy feeding them and giving them a heated water bowl and of course i potty train them too.🤣🤣🤣 I don't understand why i am fascinated by opossums but they are such unique and mysterious creatures that mean no harm at all. They definitely know how to put on a show with growling and the teeth. They can definitely hold their own if need be. I had a video where the female took on 2 cats in my garage. She sleeps about 22-23 hours a day when it is below zero and snow on the ground. The only hour she is awake she eats, drinks and goes to the bathroom. She was definitely telling me to beat it, that is for sure! Thanks for watching and i hope you had a wonderful holiday! 🥰🥰🥰🥰👍💕

Where i live in Wisconsin we get really cold weather and during the warmer months we get tornadoes here. 20 years ago it leveled Oakfield and that is only 6 miles from where i live. I did this video especially for you. Not many people get the pleasure of hearing them growl and i knew waking her up would definitely get the results i was looking for. The male that died this summer got so used to me that i could pet him with no problems. This old girl hates everyone and everything. She is the one that bit both cats in my video a month ago. Both cats were out of the garage in 20 seconds and wanted nothing to do with her. They never came back again. I most definitely am not dumb enough to put my fingers in front of her as i would be called stumpy too!🤣🤣🤣🤣 I am glad you liked it. They don't alway play possum like people think they do. I understand they’re not likely to attack you. You can even pick them up by the tail and they “play dead”. Thus the expression “playing possum” meaning to feign death. I wouldn’t want to try it tho. They sound mean.
Yes you are right. I could pet the male from behind very carefully. The female was much grumpier! I could feed them cheese or chicken but always very careful! They never would pass out but only because they knew me. I even picked up the male to drive him to a rehabilitation facility because he got hit my a car one night and came back to me with head injuries and broken teeth. He never even tried to bite me. I think he knew i was trying to help him. Unfortunately he died that week so i never got him back. He was a sweet boy.

I did this video especially for you. Not many people get the pleasure of hearing them growl and i knew waking her up would definitely get the results i was looking for. The male that died this summer got so used to me that i could pet him with no problems. This old girl hates everyone and everything. She is the one that bit both cats in my video a month ago. Both cats were out of the garage in 20 seconds and wanted nothing to do with her. They never came back again. I most definitely am not dumb enough to put my fingers in front of her as i would be called stumpy too!🤣🤣🤣🤣 I am glad you liked it. They don't alway play possum like people think they do. I understand they’re not likely to attack you. You can even pick them up by the tail and they “play dead”. Thus the expression “playing possum” meaning to feign death. I wouldn’t want to try it tho. They sound mean.
Yes you are right. I could pet the male from behind very carefully. The female was much grumpier! I could feed them cheese or chicken but always very careful! They never would pass out but only because they knew me. I even picked up the male to drive him to a rehabilitation facility because he got hit my a car one night and came back to me with head injuries and broken teeth. He never even tried to bite me. I think he knew i was trying to help him. Unfortunately he died that week so i never got him back. He was a sweet boy.
