you have Amazing hand control and a beautiful hand crafted bowl. thanks for sharing. Regards, Amit
Thank you for the kind words! We will relay this information to Pene! 😊
On a bowl that size I probably would have started with a forstner bit on the pedestal drill to debulk and set accurate depths and finished shaping with my miniturbo but I do like the mojo of just hitting it with the ball gouge and going till it feels right. You just sold me a turboscraper.
Hey Titch, nice feedback and we like your thinking. Let us know your thoughts on the TURBO Scraper if you do end up getting one. Cheers!

Thanks! 🛠 Yes, it's our newest tool and one of our favorites (not biased, we promise!)...
I’m all about visual and feeling the depth and shape. Yes I have gotten my work a little thin and rendered it in the fire wood pile. I’m going to get the ball gouge in my arsenal of grinder tools. Thanks for this video. One more quick ? How does it work on hard woods?
Glad you liked our video with Pene. She is a fantastic woodworker and truly, remarkable artist. Yes, to answer your question, the Ball Gouge is suitable for hardwoods. Cheers!
