Another good idea is to GENTLY pet their tail so they get used to it. The reason for this is that when a little kid comes over, they are less likely to bite them if the kid pulls on the dog's tail and it makes it easier for the groomers to trim their tail fur if you end up having a fluff ball like my pup. Getting your puppy into good habits will lead them into being good dogs.
I don't recommend cutting their nails fully...but we can cut them to s frequent length. Because they need a grip to hold on right 🔛, I'm telling this cuz my sister's a vet

you also cant cut a dogs nails fully, they have something called “quik” and it bleeds when u cut to a certain length.
No one cuts their nails fully. It’s a trim at best
