You are 100 yard shots are a shining example of “aim small miss small” pretty impressive for a 177
Wow. A .177 making the steel swing. That’s really impressive
Excellent video. I wish you would keep exploring the 177cal. If it's doing this well in a out of the box condition. I bet it will be sub MOA with the right tune.
And 177cal slugs are cheap. Plus your the only guy showing the 177cal. 🎯👍
We will continue. But we need to also get the .22 up and going too. It’s not going anywhere.
Cheers

I was looking at a bunch of PCPs for my first one to get. It was between a Avenge-X and a Benjamin Armada. The thing that really swung it in Avenge-X's favor is how customizable it is.
For someone like me that doesn't exactly know what they are getting into it is nice to know I can change some parts to change the caliber or make it into a bullpup if I want. If I didn't like it I could change it rather then having to buy a whole new gun. Also, I like to tinker with stuff so being able to change settings without a tear down is nice.
I can't say the Armada is a bad gun (I didn't get it), but I can say I am happy with my Avenge-X.
I wna see first and second focal plain scope vid! Awesome content btw great job!
Hey there.. I've done a couple of them on my channel with "through the scope" footage..
Cheers

Nice shooting Rick, i have the .22 only slug i found to shoot well is hn .218 21gr,but will sling pellets from 14.3 to 19.0 gr dead center all day reg@2000 no hs adjustment. Great gun. Yes you do need to do the scope video.
Have you tried the Patriot Javeline .218 21 grain, I got 2 inch groups at 125 yards with mine
@mrredheadredekop2775 no not yet but I will.
@@mrredheadredekop2775 what do you have your reg and how set at?
@@chrisennis6771 I have my reg at 2800 psi and the hammer spring about 5 turns out, I'm having an average speed of 986 fps
Dang, 100 yards. Nice!
Good
I enjoy watching you. I would have a few suggestions if you don't mind. This particular video should've had a chronograph with it, in my opinion. Also as in your other videos I suggest you do the pre-shot prep like loading the magazines ahead of time so you just pop them in...there's no point in watching you load a magazine. And then you said that here's a Avenge X that you had just taken out of the box and filled with air and shot, you cleaned it before you shot right?. Stay safe and well and happy holidays. PS: I have the Avenge-X .177 and .25, classic synthetic. .25 was a change kit from .177,
16:44 -- RICK wind had very little to do with this and it was very obvious you didn't tune this gun because of how wildly it was shooting based on your closer distance pellet shots at 25 yards from previous video. At this point why not tune for .177 and do a direct face off with the Air Arms S510XS?
I have not touched the gun on purpose. And mentioned that several times in these videos. I will do some tuning and retest after we do some work with the .22.
Cheers
AGW
Yeah. For slugs 177, the reg definitely need some tuning up. Maybe pushing the slug more than 920 fps will be interesting. Very nice video from out of the box unit btw
Cheers 😊
Should try NSA slugs
Heck, this thing shoots better than an FX .22 at 100 yards, are you kidding me?
Nice shooting!! Just wondering if it would help you to have a wind flag on the target? Also how do you like the stinger gun rest? You might have mentioned it in previous videos and I missed it. Thanks
I'll say this about mine. Not happy. It either falls or is too tight to adjust it up and down. No happy medium.
Would love for you to do a video about second focal plane benefits !
Hi Rick may I know the velocity you set for this 100 yard review. The last time @ 25 yards you set it at 870fps
how many speeds for this yard bro?
Not bad for 25 bucks.
I can buy A12 gauge with a fiber optic sight for 200 dollars u can drop almost any number of game In the world with that gun 200 dollars
Curious what he is running for a tune. I tried the 16 grain JSB’s but not that accurate. The reg on the AV X Wont go below 2k so i had to use low power to get the 13 gr pellets in the high 800’s.
Edit ok reg is at 2k .. any idea on HS?
He's not running a tune unfortunately...🤦🏻♂ Out of box settings only.
@@DarcvexiS wonder if AV sets them different depending on caliber ?
Really? U cannot lower the regulator? So 2000 psi was the minimum. They said u had to degassed the air cylinder and turn the reg screw clockwise to lower the reg
Yes i can but the lowest it will go is 2000 ish.
Rick everyone says you have to shoot a slug at 950-1000+ fps your thoughts on that ??
I guess we will find out when we tune to specific ammo. Doing the basic out of the box performance first.
Cheers

@@AirGunWeb 👍 are you feeling better my friend ?
I will buy this avengex rifle
Ugh why is AV taking so long on the barrel kits. Only need the 22.
They taking along time on everything, they having trouble keeping up with the demand. I want to switch stocks but can't no one has extra stocks.
Wow I hav a 177 avenger I would a22 but 500 dollars is a lot of money with no sight or no scope what good is a gun rifle with no sight worthless
Move your damn sights move the crosshairs
I know this is an old one move your F in sights do you know it's shooting left why go out to 100 yards and not adjust move your crosshairs
Stop being lazy and move the crossings
