This show would be nothing without Kevin.
True. Mark is great but he’s the whole energy of the room tbh that’s why he’s in the middle
He's dope...he's the most honest, real, straightforward shark. He's the guy thats going to tell you what you NEED to hear. What I like the most, is how he's not afraid to cry on camera, at some of the heart touching stories. It gives you an idea of what kind of person he may truly be and not some hardened, shrewd businessman like the show portrays him to be.
@@davidleonard7439 I think Mark is actually the most straightforward shark on the show. Everything else I agree with!
kevin makes the atmosphere mostly funny, and i love how goofy he is sometimes
Mark Cuban is my favorite entrepreneur, but Kevin is my favorite SHARK. There's a reason he sits in the middle. He's like the authority of Sharktank.
Mr. Wonderful is really the MVP for these entrepreneurs with gettin’ movement of offers constantly
Pitch something from the FUT world to these sharks 😅
So, glad he didn't run for Prime Minister. This is where he belongs!
There’s a reason why he’s called mr wonderful
Thats Dirty Mike!
Say it again lol. That man saved them big time. Hate to admit it, but he earned that nickname.
One thing Kevin knows better than other sharks is to get other sharks riled up with his intelligence. That's why he's the only Mr.Wonderful
Lets go 👶. Who that? Austin power 🔋 💪

I see no issue here. They didn't lie.
I get that feeling too LOL
not only that, but:
pitchers have made a lot of sales on their product: why do you need the sharks?
pitchers don't have a lot of sales before going on the show: for that reason im out
they take them down so that they’re more open to lowering their company’s valuation
I like that Kevin doesn’t get all petty during these, I’ve seen just about everyone else threaten to pull the deal away and start counting down from 5 but he knows that’s not how you make trusting business partners. When you rush people in big business decisions they tend to feel ripped off.
This, and sometimes it's simply about ego.
well, she was being disrespected. it’s important to let your business partners know you have high self worth. her not letting that slide also snapped their attention back and got the deal.

He will do that on occasion. He is just less likely to do it than someone like Mark. Also Laurie will bluff to take the offer away but she has never pulled the trigger from what I have seen.
I’ve seen him be like that - on dragons den too

I don't know about always, but he is fair. Both him and Mark Cuban definitely help out when they hear a terrible offer from other Sharks.
EXACTLY, and most of the times all are out and thats why he says “all roads lead back to mr wonderful”… and leaves them with 1 option, the desperate one
Kevin is so good he always helps ppl w his deal even when he doesn’t win
Lori, the second she became an investor: “This is brilliant, literally why would you ever buy anything else?”
That’s the kind of support you want from an investor
Also she loved it from the beginning, but in a negotiation you don’t want to display your emotions completely.
Correct. And obviously this will air on TV. Of course after the deal is made she will say that so consumers can get excited and look for this outdoor furniture.
I mean why would upper middle class buy anything else? Its pricey and convenient. Right up Californians alley

Selling for 3.5K now. It’s an ok idea, but I rather have a full cover to protect the entire furniture, not just the cushions, which by the way are not even fully covered, the sides of the cushions are exposed.
I have outdoor furniture that is the same material, look, and size, and it came with a heavy trap shaped for the set and easy to put on and off. And it was $800 lol
If you are handy enough, you can build/buy/have built a waterproof cover for your current outdoor furniture for probably total $200. Saves you $3,300!!!!

@@youdontknowme3577 so how that works is that theyre saying that 750k is how much 4% of their company is going to be worth, and if you do the math then 4% of 18.7mil is 750k

Well they raised $50Millions last year
The Sharks hate when people mention TAM. And it’s something I’m weary of anytime I hear it in conversation bc of this.
The Sharks interest in this company was puzzling. The number of people with elaborate outdoor furniture shrinks every year. More importantly, you and I know that exposed to the elements, all furniture erodes, regardless of claims.
Mark Cuban always keeps it straight. Tells the entrepreneurs exactly what he thinks without undervaluing the business based off true statistics and either makes an offer most of the time or gives them advice on how they can be better. Good individual and great businessman 👍

There’s plenty of outdoor furniture that does all of those things if you’re willing to pay the price. Also outdoor furniture that actually has a nice design rather than an 80’s design.
You could just buy your own tarp and have a cupboard and get way better rain protection coverage. That thing on the cushion barely even covers it to the sides while leaving it wide open to rain in the center.

I'm seeing some 3-person sofas near me for $425 USD + tax, and they look great , same size. Oh and their website, they upped the price to $3,500 for that seat they mentioned. So I can find decent couches for 13% of the cost that doesnt have the flip cover....
That's a QVC product all day. I can totally see this in one of those after hour commercials "but wait.. there's more!"
Too pricey for QVC. You need to be either rich or really terrible with money management to spend $2,500 USD on a 3-cushion outdoor sofa.....
Pay in 80 installments
Kevin is a true shark. He smells sweat, blood, and anxiousness and makes a move.
It is a cool idea but not everyone is willing to pay $2,500 for a piece of patio furniture. The little flap cover is the selling point and a good do-it-yourselfer could figure out something.
True but another upside is because they have the flap cover and easy carry store-away, they can have much comfort cushions which I believe is a big selling point in terms of outdoor furniture since they're usually tougher or uncomfortable to survive in weather and stuff
They don't need everyone
I can see rich people with beach houses on the east coast buying this for when storms come in. It’s not for everyone true but people buying outdoor patio furniture are already high income.
You underestimate how many millionaires there are in the world.
We aren't all poor like you

I viewed the furniture at a PopUp here in Los Angeles and the furniture is way way over priced. The PopUp was in an outdoor area where people could eat their lunch on the furniture and near the shops and food places. So there were real world food stains. What you see there the couch and chair sells for over $5000. The furniture is built very light and the fabric had a ton of food stains. I strongly believe because of the Shark Lori they are over priced. The seating was not comfortable. The cushions had little support so they are using less foam or a cheaper foam. I am 5’9” 160 and I sunk to the bottom of the cushions. Their cover idea is a gimmick. When it rains the cushions will still get wet and if the wind blows they will get dusty. A full furniture cover is needed. At their PopUp store I waited close to an hour and no employee showed up to answer my questions. There was supposed to be someone working there and I went at 12:45PM which is prime time for customers to see the product. I wanted them to show me them getting the food stains out and I wanted them to show me the foam inside the cushions. This company has no brick and mortar store. It’s all online with a few PopUps. They have no middleman. They are priced high so that Shark can get paid, the two partners and the family. I like the designed but again I was turned off by the quality. All the ads you see on Facebook their customer gets a discount if they show a submitted home video clip and they are not going to show an ad with a unhappy customer. Some of those ads show the back cushions being a mess because of the foam they use. I am just giving you my opinion viewing the furniture and testing it out for the first time, I had no bias. In fact I knew they were pricey but I really wanted to see it in person before spending that kind of money and I was happy they had a PopUp by the beach. I am so happy I took a pass and I did not buy.
i dont see why i couldnt just buy the same furniture from walmart and throw a tarp over it when im not using it
@@Iuxinterior You could. Surprisingly Target Online sells better quality. The sell a lot more than what they show in their stores. A full cover is a better way to protect the furniture and storing the cushions inside is best if you have the space.
