I like how he didn't bring out the waterworks while mentioning his sickle cell condition to try and emotionally appeal to the sharks , that was very professional and all around an extremely mature thing. Wish he leads a great life ahead.

Sickle cell is such a horrible disease. The frequent crises people suffer from that dîsease makes them prefer death to living that way. Most don't make it to 40.
Watching this from a hospital bed due to sickle cell is amazing!
Barbara and her stories with her partners are amazing. I folllowed most of them and she's really hands-on helping them. They also had so fun relationship. Cousin's Mane Lobster, Original Compy, Press Waffle for example, these guys came in with a shaky sales and valuation but Barbara as Mark says, he adores her for having people skills where she invest more into people than the buiness. And she actually turned them into Millionaires. I hope these two will be able to have the same track as those I mentioned.

One of the saddest days of my life was meeting a 51 year old man with sickle cell while I was doing my clinical rotations in nursing school. He was in and out of hospitals his whole life. He told me his pain was always at a 10
I like these guys and their business, they started from $500 and now got offer from two sharks. Congrats!

With their passion, I would’ve gone the non-profit route and seek donors rather than investors. These sharks also have charitable foundations that would be perfect partners.

@@diamond852 I wouldnt go that far, they all create personas for the show (its tv afterall) and none of them are like this IRL. I think they are all great ppl but sometimes you have to be strict and disciplined to make money. Barbra has lost ALOT of money on her deals on Shark tank perhaps thats because she cares more about the entrepenours then the idea itself.
Lori is the most succesfull and she also invests the most often on the tank besides maybe kevin and Mark prob does the biggest investments but they are more often much more greedy with their deals because that is how they ensure they a profit because at the end of it all this isnt a sharity show its a buissness show.

Hats off for Daniel who is doing this for helping the guy with Sickle cell disease make his dream come true, although it may be short, it can be sweet. :'\ That's so sad. He's right... if he only has about 30 years life span.. and he's already 25, don't waste time in school. :\
From an Investor point of view, it's a smart deal, but from an Entrepreneurial point view being someone struggling with life threatening disease only having 6 months to secure a profitable business, it's a bad deal because now the pressure and the stress on that young man under his condition increases. I can only hope that he'd push through and not become overly stressed with a deadline.
Had to look up the symptoms of sickle cell anemia, it takes so much out of you. Love his enthusiasm but boy that's a scary prospect. They already ended up in the hospital once before for overworking.
You can pretty much always tell when Mark isn't going to invest in a product even without the title spoiling it lol

I looked up Sparketh and this is amazing. I'm getting this program for my niece and nephew for their bdays. Two child accounts come with one subscription. Excellent pricing. I'm an artist and sell art for a living. The art taught is great and easy to follow. Highly recommended.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I dislike it when entrepreneurs say "oh we aren't making money but we are going to help kids or change the world"... But you cannot change the world on a business that cant make money. Even charity group have to raise extra money to give money. As the saying goes "Take care of yourself before you can take care of others" I believe this applies to business as well.
