I feel like it would be pretty dope to something that means rebirth or transformation on your hand. You spoke about how you were really unhappy last year or so when you started pursuing youtube more. Perhaps the death and decay theme could lead into rebirth and transformation. Something like a tree but it can be whatever means something to you. Or if you would like to stick with the death and decay theme I think a viper, coffin or something to do with time like a sundial or hourglass to represent "memento mori" the fragility of life. Would be a sick metalcore reference only a few would get. Just some ideas tho I am a photographer so I know a lot more about visual representation than audio so I feel I finally have something to offer you haha.

@@WyattStav mostly small business corporate photography. A lot of the other stuff is just passion projects. If you like the memento mori idea here is something I thought of. An hourglass with a moon on the top where your arm is and a sun on the hand. But I thought it would be cool if the hourglass was held up by drum sticks. Just random ideas tho. I think the idea of remember you will die could be cool to talk with the artist about he would have some good ideas. Best of luck man! Love your channel even tho I don't know shit about drums haha

I love tattoos but have never ended up getting one yet and I’m 21, however momento mori style pieces are my favorite, so it could blend into a stopwatch or a melting candle (considering you have a skull already) Also huge grats on the drumming, I’m not musically talented but I’ve always been drawn to the drums and your videos give me that release, hope you ha e a good new year mate, peace
Right on! you are still very young! I didn't get started on this sleeve till I was almost 23! ahaha .. its better to take time anyways.. I am so happy I didn't get too many when I was young and couldn't properly afford them.. haha has left lots of room for better higher quality tattoos now that I am more situated in life.. ya feel? :) anyways I am glad you enjoy the vids and thanks for the suggestion / this comment ! :D

I think you should go with a compass on the hand. Then, if interested, do a life/rebirth themed sleeve on the right arm. i think the homesick tattoo was the best one definitely a good reason behind it. and choosing to do it in kanji was terrific.

ya I agree.. Idk about on my left hand.. but I really need to get a drum themed tattoo.... When I was younger I wanted to get a literal drum set on my thigh.. haha I might still do that! Someone also commented on this video suggestion that I get a compass but in the shape of a snare drum,, .. that also might be a cool piece down the line!

nope.. nothing to do with that :) .. The mandalas they use are pretty different haha
I thought it could also have that meaning ahaha I've never done a tattoo before so it's kinda dangerous for me to have something so big tattooed on my body forever, so that's why I'm a bit reticent... I find mandalas and the flower of life (sempiternal album image ahaha) so magestic, I just don't know why!
