I felt so bad for the first guy, the tattoo artist was so rude and he just did a horrible job.
That face belonged on Tatu Baby's lion đ
Don't feel bad for him or any other "canvas" on this show as it is very stupid to get a random ass tattoo by a random ass tattoo artist.
â@@jar9415exactly
@@jar9415can agree with this.
This was one of those times where listening to the canvas really would have helped him đŹ the dude saw the issues immediately.
Honeslty one main problem I have with this show, is how the judges take no care or consideration into what the canvasâs chose. So many different times throughout this show you can see the canvas choosing something or asking the artist to do something and having them do it just for it to come back later and bite the artist in the ass because the judges refuse to take into consideration the fact that the canvas asked for that specific thing. I get if it were to look bad, but sometimes it looks a lot better with the change the canvas asked for, but itâs not traditional so the judges see it as a problem.
Theyâre called human canvases and not clients for a reason on this show.
okay this feels like a safe space to say i kinda adored that cat on the last one!! it was just a matter of taste, the artist did a really good job!!
And then in the next clip they admonish someone for NOT doing what the person wanted. The whole show is bullshit. Every single part of it. From the editing of the reaction clips to the actual judging is 100% fake.
@@lykoiy Safe space? Not with that kind of language, petal.

The anatomy of the first tattoo was absolutely disgusting, and the man who made it has an awful attitude
Yeah. We can discuss about mistakes with proportions etc,. not about people who was supposed to be healthy, but looks like heavily disfigured.
You have to be you advocate when getting an artist! This is permanent yooo
Yeah ikr he was so rude like đĄ
I would have straight up left. What a garbage human being lol
The fact that the âartistâ is giving the client pushback is bullshit. Artists are there to please the client, not themselves. Dude is a fucking asshole and put this piece of shit tattoo on this innocent dude just trying to get a decent tattoo. Fuck that dude. Though I am sure this was exaggerated for the sake of entertainment but still...
âCanvasesâ?? I think âvictimsâ would be more appropriate.
They signed up for this, knowing they might not get a great tattoo
The show has some pretty fucked up concepts, time restriction, the competitors choosing who tattoos who. It is just a bad mix for the canvases, and I'm pretty sure it's on purpose. Putting the competitors name on a hat, and having the canvases pull them out would improve the tattoos quality by 30% at least.
@@derpisson then why not choose a more simpler tattoo not a fucking portrait? Both are at fault
@@derpisson It's not really time restricted. Some people finish early, some finish later. Those clips where Dave is counting down "2 hours left!" and whatnot, are all filmed at the same time.
@@TroubleEST I don't know, but it feels like they pick those people with huge expectations on purpose, like that lunatic that wanted a huge ass space tattoo.
I feel so bad for the guy who got the spiral tattoo. Itâs absolutely massive and thereâs no covering or fixing it.
he can laser it to be light enough
I like it tbh
He can watch Bleach and then turn it into one of his Hollow masks
He can definitely make it solid black
He can just shop it off
I actually think the tattoo of the old lady had an impressive amount of detail in it. I think he just got carried away with the shading and emphasized the wrinkles too much. It should have been lighter and the wrinkles should have used finer lines or lighter shading so it didn't come off so harsh. The tattoo clearly looks a LOT worse than the picture despite being pretty accurate on the actual details. IMO, the number 1 focus should always be to make the tattoo look good even if it means you miss the mark a bit on a challenge. If the only way you can make it look good is to leave some details out or change the lighting a bit or something then that's what you should do.
I still don't know how I feel about it... like to me my personal opinion is that it was honestly perfect. Reason? because tattoos fade after healing. It would have been a few shades lighter after healing and would have looked perfect. I think he did the best job he could and made a killer Tat
Knowing when to add detail or not is a huge part of being an artist, and he made the wrong decision. You don't need to include every wrinkle when drawing someone's face, because those aren't what make people's faces recognizable anyway.
Tattoos aren't the right medium for hyperrealistic drawings, that's just not something you can do on people's skin.
first guy rlly wasnât being a douche. i wouldnât want a dude in a grass skirt tattooed on me either man

I donât understand why the canvases donât listen to their artists though.. if your artist tells you âI canât do this in 6 hours, youâre going to end up with an unfinished tattooâ why do they continue to argue? Itâs ridiculous to me
Because the people that go on this are at least partially made up of idiots that want a free tattoo. They are voluntarily going on a show where the main premises is taking 20 experienced artists and giving them 250,000 reasons to make sure as many people as possible get terrible tattoos. You've seen it yourself on the show, where people notice a problem with a line drawing and wait until its etched into someones skin before mentioning anything because they want to fuck up the competition or they give someone a pick that's completely against their strengths in order to wrong foot them resulting in an awful tatt.
How is not a single person mentioning that victorian neck tattoo?? By far the worst in my opinion solely because of the placement. Unless that poor lady wears turtlenecks and scarves for the rest of her life shes going to walk around with a solid grey mess slicing her neck in half I would be FUMING
That's what she wanted
You won't be fuming. You would have signed a contract to receive any tattoo, even if you didn't like it.

You should be understanding of your âcanvasâ because thatâs still a person whose going to have that on their body for at least a very, very long time.

The guy that did the mom actually did a good job at recreating the picture. Could it have been a little lighter? Sure but when you look at it close he did the shading right and got everything in the photo. The only issue is that he didn't talk the client down from a realistic photo to one that's not a straight up copy of her mom's face.

I met and had a tattoo by Dave bell in real life he actually does awesome work but he isnât faking his back injury it does hurt him he asked if we could stop mid session and asked if I could come back the following day to finish so he could do a good job and he even added a few extra designs because of that I really feel for him, awesome guy!
If the tattoo of that sweet old lady were just a bit softer in some areas, it wouldn't have that "leatherface" look. But the challenge was accuracy and I thought he nailed it. There isn't one feature on the face that looks wonky or out of place, I think he just made the shading a bit too dark in certain spots. I'd be pretty interested in seeing what it looked like healed.
The first guy wasnât even a douche, he was just expressing concern about the face, he wanted it feminine, it was the artist that was a douche, he clearly canât take critique...
I was reading this and I thought you meant the artist wasnât a douche at first and I was like đ§
And clearly he should have been concerned because look at the way it turned out
plus he has that THING on him for life, dont blame him for wanting it to look like he wants it to...
She has a mustache hahahaha
Exactly that "artist" does not represent what tattooing is about, utterly shameful that he was angered and insulted his client bc client made a simple, reasonable request. I remember working with an artist who wanted to put an anime girl on my leg, and i have never watched anime once in my life, not my thing. I dont like the aesthetic of it and think it would look childlike, like a little wide eyed girl was on me. He ended up smoking weed for 5 hrs before he even started tattoo, finally at 11pm on a worknight. I didnt get home until 5am and had to leave at 530am for work. So of course being over tired and not able to clean it properly it got infected and messed up. I asked him to fix it and he wanted to charge for that. Ugh. Do these people not have any business sense, customer service sense, or common decency
ME: Ooh that's a pretty decent koi
Judge: "That's a d*** with wings"
ME: oh it does...
I thought it was rly pretty
At first glance it's nice, but a second glance... the fin on the back is not good(that weird sharp curve) and the scales directions don't even make sense. And it looks like a peen.
You can just give it some depth & shading afterwards.
It does what?? I don't get this... đđ¶đđ
It took me 2 minutes to see it thatway
The grandma one was actually really nice. I don't think jt showed it here but jt was actually a pretty sad episode. The mom and daughter loved the tattoo and the mom loved how realistic it was, and people gave it a lot of crap and you could see her smile just fade and become self conscious
Imagine walking out kinda happy with that tattoo and then you watch the show and suddenly notice the details that make it not so good as you thought. I felt so bad for the old lady, why call her Leatherface?
Let this be a learning experience, if the tattoo artist treats you like shit for having an honest concern, get out.
đŻđŻđŻ
Raccoon & Otusian nah, Iâm sure a lot of artists are chill. The one that me and my family go to is SUPER nice. I think itâs important that if youâre going to someone take into account that theyâre not magicians, itâs going to be a bad idea to ask someone who does photo-realism to do traditional, you have to take into account time and such. A lot of artists will deny/change tattoo ideas just because they know it wonât work and a bad tattoo can ruin their reputation. Some stuff you see might look lovely in a fresh photo but will look like shit once itâs healed (watercolour/micro single-needle) and personally Iâd rather an artist say âlook, this isnât going to end well for youâ than just take my money and knowingly let me fuck up
Lesson 1. Don't be so vain as to go on a TV show to get a tattoo from someone who's work you've never seen before.
@@lioninguccisuit I recently got a danny phantom tattoo done by a guy in Belfast. Travelled all the way from cork to get it done cause he specialized in cartoons, anime and gaming. He was super chill even if I might have made things awkward
Raccoon & Otusian no one sees it because people actually say shit like that seriously and you canât properly convey sarcasm across text
Artists who get pissed at their canvases for worrying about something that will be in their body FOREVER piss me off.
EXACTLY!! liked feel like if i went to the first guy for a tattoo of my gf and said that i wanted her to have a flower in her hair or something. he would be like âomg your such a bitch i canât do everything exact.â đ€ŠđŸââïž
I agree and disagree at the same time. I completely understand why they would be demanding when it comes to getting a tattoo, because it is after all permanent. But at the same time they volunteered to be apart of this knowing that it was part of a competition. Meaning that they would have limited amount of time to not only sketch out their tattoo but also to apply the tattoo. Outside of the competition, they would have spent way more time on doing the tattoos, but on this show that time is cut in half which means they don't have a lot of room for the canvases to be demanding.
Rigel honestly im tired of artists saying that shit. Theyre always so pissy about it like fine ill find another shop princess
Exactly! I understand it is a competition but they should still treat their canvases as they would treat their clients. This is something that will be PERMANENT and FOREVER as you said.
Exactly. Like god damn it dude you gotta chill.
Man, that tattoo by Kyle Dunbar (the old lady portrait) was actually pretty much spot on with the photo. Very well done in terms of copying what was in the photo. The problem is that the old lady HAS a leather face. The woman wanted a portrait of her and he probably should have cleaned it up a bit, but she got exactly what she asked for because he put that shit into greyscale quite well.
"I'll be using my girlfriend as reference, she's hot đ©"
It's always hilarious to me that the artist calls the canvas an asshole because the canvas wants the tattoo, that he'll have on his body FOREVER, to be perfect đ
@@emilyrebecca6941 True but that hoola girl her face was horrible. The artist should have just been honest if he couldn't do facesđ
@Min Yoongi Kun It doesn't have anything to do with limited time or that it's free. The artist obviously couldn't do faces and gave the canvas a terrible tattoo that the judges themselves didn't even like
Yes and no. Itâs hard to trust someone that youâve only just met to hope something looks good when a lot of the detail isnât in the stencil but I feel like the canvas doesnât put any faith in the artist at all, like itâs their first time tattooing someone. This is super annoying. They wouldnât be on this show if they had absolutely no talent đ

@Min Yoongi Kun the time limit on this show isn't real. Previous artists have said they edit in him yelling times almost up for theatrics, so these artists are either unfortunately tattooing out of their style, or just produced a bad piece

I am very much hurt because of the way they all spoke about The Hindu Goddess tattoo, not just the contestants but the judges too, in my culture we worship her as our mother. Don't do things just because you find it exotic, get to know what it means, what value it holds amongst the people and then treat it with the same reverence before you even attempt it.
The arrogance of you to expect me to respect your superstitions and religions because you do is really annoying. I have no obligation to treat your symbols or traditions with respect, they mean nothing to me. I do not go out of my way to be disrespectful, but if I want to have a statue or picture in my home I will, I do not need to practice or read about your religion to do so.

Especially when youâre spitting in this persons face saying you have no respect for them, and for some reason you went out of your way to let them know that. That sounds like going out of your way to be disrespectful to me. This person wasnât talking to you personally, yet you read it as if it was personal to YOU and no one else. They didnât even say anything about wanting people to believe what they believe, or expecting you to practice their religion, they were just saying the handling of the goddess was reckless and wasnât thought about very well, and it was this persons choice to have it on their body. The least they could have done was check out what it means first. You can handle and talk about religion with respect without needing to study or practice it, because thatâs someoneâs entire life and is deeply connected to them as a person and their culture. Iâm a baptist Christian. I love the Lord, I love Jesus, but I would never go out of my way to go up to someone and say, âI donât believe in what you believe and I donât respect you, so donât talk about it because itâs annoying.â
Just talking about religious beliefs doesnât automatically mean âI expect everyone to believe what I do just because Iâm talking about it!â
Thatâs just ignorant, and itâs very hypocritical because in doing this, YOU just pushed your beliefs onto this person forcefully by saying what they believe in means nothing to you, when all they did was just talk about it and they didnât even preach about it. They just wanted people to be reasonable and not throw around religious figures as if theyâre pretty art pieces and nothing else. Weâre supposed to love one another, and what you said came from pure bitterness.

The grandma is really accurate tho tbh, on a technical level itâs super impressive but on an aesthetic level nah, Iâm not tryna get a scrotum tattooed on my leg.
A scrotum, lmao đ
đ€Łđ€Łđ€Łđ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł
If it was a drawing on paper yeah, but on skin? Uhg, you have to consider how it's going too look from far apart. So sad.
I think the biggest issue was really just how dark it ended up being. If the shading contrasted less I think it wouldn't have been as 'leather face'-y. I suppose the most important part is that the canvas and grandma liked it (if I'm recalling correctly).
Mak I think a big part of it was the upper lip he made it look dark
I love how usually the artist just immediately blames the canvas
Jordan Sedgwick yeah like Tatubaby shouldâve been more stubborn. You canât do that Hindu goddess AND a lion in 6 hours. The clothing on the goddess has so much detail to nail in addition to all the hands. I wouldâve said âif I do the lion it will look like shit cause itâll be rushedâ
Yeah the cholo homie with the face tats totally blamed his shit on excuses but at least he took for his own
Yeah, like how the hell is the first canvas an asshole for not liking the face? And then the artist gave him a man's face.
To be fair all these "canvases" are fucking idiots for going a TV show where they don't even get to select their artist based on their strengths or style and on top of that the artists are under time constraints. You're literally just rolling the dice with a piece of art on your body that will last a lifetime.
It's really hard to feel bad for these people.
Ik so nice of them isnât it
the acid cat goes hard
I love the acid cat at the end
I mean the koi fish isnât that bad, compared to others.
Thatâs what I thought
I would've taken the fish over the dancing lady ......

The first canvas was 100% in the right to be so picky. Itâs his body, and tattoos are permanent.
Broly The Sarcastic Savage bankrupt has entered the chat
Broly The Sarcastic Savage itâs expensive tho and not all the ink always comes off
He wasn't even picky, he just didn't want a troll in a skirt tattooed on him.
This show is filled to the brim with made-up, phony drama.
@Sup bro imagine being so salty over other peoples decisionsđđ itâs part of my culture to have them so educate yourself or piss off
Omg the face on the first one! My jaw dropped
I literally LMAO on that granny tattoo looking like Leatherface đđđ RIP replay button đ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł
I thought the fish kinda looked okay they just made it sound worst.
Definitely looked OK to me, idk what they were expecting. And the rest of her art looked amazing
i think the line art looked good, the colouring just didn't work well
@The Book Of ÆŹĐŻXPXP I'm not a tattoo artist, but I make really cool looking creatures, so to see the dorsal fin wrap around so strangely was almost messing with me. XD And I hate drawing fish, but heck, that looked more like a deformed goldfish than a koi.
I didnât see a penis tbh. Wouldâve been funny if she said âgoing by self reference?â
It looked ok to the untrained eye, meaning it actually looks like shit but most wont notice.
The koi fish was not that bad... definitely not ink master quality but if you walked into a tattoo parlor and got that no one would bat an eye...
Itâs shaped like a penis đđđ Japanese Koi fish are not shaped like that in real life or in its art form
I agree... I have seen worse on the show....
i'd be so pissed to have scale dick on my arm
Ali Chalberg my cousin has to get his koi fish covered up because it looked like a dick..now his entire arm is a black sleeve
It's a pity because she has some stunning work
I totally LOVED the last one!!
Omg the cat at the end I canât đ
Who tattoo's their girlfriend's face on another man's back
who does it POORLY
Bruh out here flexin lol
Idk the name of the artist but i know the CZcamsr CJ SO COOL has his girl tatted on his back
Do you want to be on my back? ;) lol.

Jerome Jacosalem To me these look like 90% of tattoos
Me hearing the tattoo is bad after liking it: ohhhhh yeah....really trash, look at those outlines, shameful
@Trantor The Troll It's not ogre. It's ill, bald Ewok.
the first one the client was being a client. The client is the person who determines what goes on his body and in order for that to turn out well communication has to be good on both parts. The tattooer is the one who had bad communication. Also as much as it seemed messed up, I really hope he did something like put a mask on her or something because I think that could be fixed
Bless my tattoo artist who listens and was an actual artist before a tattoo artist đđ»đđ»
I personally didn't hate the coi fish
Yeah it looked good honestly, the only thing that was needed was more detail in the twist of the fish
Except for it looks like a dick head..itâs good otherwise
Yeah even after he pointed it out i didnt really see it
Which means you secretly don't hate dick. =\
Dicks are juicy
My mans had the audacity to say âcheck that bad boy Outâ after giving her the worst face Iâve ever seen on a tatt lmfao.
Well it's okay, because your opinion is not valued.

Id like to see the granny tattoo today. I wonder if any of those harsh details softened out at all.
that cat at the end is actually dope af
Looks like something you'd get from your friends friend who deals crack
âOk we got 4 hours to do a tattooâ
*client describes a 19 hour tattoo
âHmmm we canât do thatâ
âNo but like...I want itâ
Bruh I know and all the people in the comments are like well itâs on their body forever..yes but youâre getting a free 6 hour tattoo at least pick something reasonable for them
Something less than 6 inches would be fine
understandable
A lot of people come in and describe these tattoos they want and sometimes they sound cool. Sometimes they sound downright impossible. Theyâll want a whole ass chest piece of devils and angels fighting with clouds and smoke and fire in 6 hours.
I mean if you want an 18 hour tattoo in 6 hours then itâs probably only going to look 33% as good as it could have
Totally. Like you get 6 hours of free ink... Pick a 6 hour piece. Even if you want to add to it later fine... But be reasonable. Some of these projects they want are multi day sessions...

I mean Tatu Baby literally tried to tell her canvas it was too much detail to do in 6 hours and she wouldnât listen. Thatâs on her not Tatu Babyđ€·đœââïž
also she did a great job on the goddess
Nah that's on tatu baby. It. The canvas is getting a free tattoo and she has money on the line. She needed to tell her canvas what's up.
@@ItsAlwaysSlushie and she did. The canvas was insistent even though tatu told her the problems
@@ItsAlwaysSlushie it's a 50/50 split. The lady could have left
In my opinion its the artists fault. They make the ultimate decision on what they will do. If she wasn't comfortable doing it, id respect them more simply denying to ink outright, more than a rushed job my artist didn't feel comfortable doing in the first place.
4:42: when Mario says to Luigi " But-a brother, the gym is-a not for youu!"
Oliverâs comment to Roland kills međđ
I feel SO INCREDIBLY sorry for the first guy. Saying you are not satisfied with the drawing is always super hard and he was very kind and subtle. It must be even harder on this show... I hope he found a solution...
The only solution to that might be laser unless he finds an amazing cover up artist
How does this have 2k likes and only 2 replies-
