Kind of a bittersweet ending. Lincoln gave in to it all. Honestly a better ending is him leaving and Vito taking over. More closure for Vito and Lincoln was a better man
To this day, I still have weird feelings about Mafia 3 because I can't decide wether this ending is a good thing or not. As many have said before, is this really the good thing to do? at first, the first week after I got this ending I was all like "This is the right choice; Licoln may be taking over the city, but the guy isn't someone who kills people for fun or makes other suffer"
Man the story cutscenes and performances in this game hurt me for such wasted potential in boring repetitive gameplay with an exception to a few missions
Leaving the city to Vito is the best I believe. Lincoln doesn’t turn into another Sal, and Vito realizes his dream. The other two turn the city into a wasteland. If you don’t agree I’ll fight you. 😉😂
I do love the way it ends with Donovan here, however, my favorite ending is killing Burke and Cassandra then skipping town, leaving only Vito in control of the whole city.
Do all three lieutenant's missions, but only give the turf to vito. Make them that money, but not the rackets. Just vito - everybody lives, everybody wins.
It’s the hero ending he saved the town and prevented it from having more corruption in a sense all that money he fixed the projects, made the money flow into his territories and the law couldn’t touch him, he became a favorite son and I assume he’s still alive in a old age or dead hence the documentary he became black excellence in a terrible way it’s a interesting way to put it
I like the ending where he leaves town and vito takes over the city, in my opinion they should've had it where if you chose the leave town ending you'd play as vito after

The devs spent way too much time thinking and coding alternatives than creating up diverse missions
