- Amit Shah, speaking in the Lok Sabha on the issue of drug abuse in the country, shot down Trinamool Congress MP Saugata Roy, who tried to interrupt his speech.
“Dada, if you want to give a speech, I will sit down. You can speak. Being such a senior MP, such interruptions are unbecoming of your position and seniority,” Amit Shah said, as his party colleagues cheered him.

Not required actually, as in most states birth rate is at 2.1 or below 2.1, and 2.1 is required to have an optimum flow of workers in an economy. Cause as people get old, there is need of new people to replace them, Europe, and Japan are suffering from this exact problem, as well as china, would suffer in near future.
The only states were birth rates are higher than 2.1 are Bihar(3.0), UP(2.4), Jharkhand(2.3), Meghalaya(2.9), so Population control bills are required in these states, and their governments can do that for their own states, while the national average is 2.05 which already below 2.1.
