For connection problems, you should solder between the connections, at least that way there's no problem (although I can see that there are other episodes, so you must have solved the track connection problem).

Very nice job on the figures. The playground equipment is also going to make for an interesting scene. BTW, the upside down bridge is called a deck truss.

Where your trains tunnel will be, instead of a Car tunnel, why not just make a section of the tunnel wall removable, to give you access to derailments? The Seams can be hidden by over laps on the sides, and scenery at the top and bottom. That’s what I did with mine. Works like a charm, and no one has ever noticed. 😁
