The outcome people get about Comp Console Overwatch is that it’s a wasteland of toxic people and I genuinely not an enjoyable thing. Which is absolutely correct.
As someone who does comp console, I can agree, it is horrendous, especially when they got to your profile and spam text you, truest the worst

Hey I was the duo that game- they were Echo, Reaper, Mei 😭 they didn't break 2k dmg that entire game I'm just happy I got to call him James bond while I could and I agree it HAD to be on purpose idk how they are real

The stack problem it’s really annoying. I was a game away to reach my peak and I had to play with this 3 stack. It was a low diamond lobby and I had a silver 2 dps who was 7 and 16. Ofc we lose the game bc the other two were trying so hard to give him picks and save him, that they ended up also throwing the game.

I hate solo queuing so we do stack but we all hold each other accountable when we need to switch things up and stuff

Watching that last game I feel your pain. I don't even understand how I'm supposed to get my rank back at this point. I can't carry hard enough. For example, tonight I had a match where I went 28 and 3 on support with 2k more healing than anyone else in the lobby. Yet both my DPS were like 22 and 17ish. Their reasoning? I DPS'd too much and didn't heal enough 😢 Most of my matches are like this now on every role. I can outperform everyone in the lobby and it just doesn't matter. Two seasons ago I was Masters and now I'm in Gold and Plat lobbies ffs. I don't know what to do to fix this.

This has started bleeding into QP and it’s the worst thing. I’m just trying to properly learn Winston and this mercy player decided to shit all over me and the reaper who clearly is trying to learn too…somehow more toxic than Comp nowadays, not that I haven’t had my fair share of that. Usually however I’m not the target because I’m a Mercy that has 200hours practicing movement and evasive techniques so I can just not die.
Also I stack with people. But that doesn’t stop me from playing the game as a team. Sure, my fiancé asks for help, I’ll go. But he’s not the only person I’ll give resources to…plus he prefers going off on his own as a Junkrat and just fucking up one persons day for a match, regardless of if we win or lose. It’s just what he finds fun I guess.
