French being added to genshin would be great because it fits Fontaine very well as well as reaching out to French players, but hoyo won't do that because they've already spent a lot of money on other things.
Dude... Money isn't always the problem. Maybe they just don't have a french HQ yet or maybe they're still preparing one. Or there could be some complications that wouldn't be in their best interest to have a french version. Either way, I doubt it's about the money at all. Genshin makes an f-word tonne of money.

Yeah, it would be great to have French option, but we all need to understand that genshin have 3 years of content that needed to be dubbed.
@@RecordToDeathToBoredom they will have to reach out for french voice acting company for it and it will be another huge investment in both time and money especially with such a huge casts all the way from Mondstabt to Fontaine. Just for a smaller group of fanbase is not gonna worth it realistically speaking.
When Yae Miko came out a French Channel made a video where they dubbed genshin and they showed how it would sound like in french, the video was sponsored by Mihoyo as well

I've said it before and I recognize the absolute Herculean effort it would be, but I would love a French, Spanish and Russian dub of the game to be available, with the added option of choosing the language on either a Per Region or Per Character basis. Coz we all enjoy [insert language] overall but our favourite [insert character] is the [insert language] version.
I'm pretty much super used to the English dub of the game but the Japanese Lisa is still my most favorite Lisa. And I refuse to play HuTao in anything other than Chinese.
And German! I'm learning German and German would be great to listen to in Mondstadt
I'd love a Portuguese dub but i know that's very rare for games to do, a Spanish one would still be nice tho and there definetely is enough of an user base to justify it
Problem with that is places like Sumeru. It’s a mix of cultures, so you’d have to have it different by area of the region or just choose one language, which may or may not fit

I don't even play the game, and even if I'm French and knew for a long time that there's a French inspired city and all, I was, and still am, not interested in playing the game. (Maybe if they would add a French dub, but at this point, Pokemon Masters EX will get one first and that's not something that will be happening soon)
