Also one thing to look into is for a different character (Yun Jin) they have her sing in Chinese regardless of what language you play in. A region called “Fontaine” is inspired by France. Hope you’ll be able to audition to be a singer for the game too.

as a french person they really picked some of the best and most iconic french voice actors. As someone who understands the language i'd say my fave were itto, ganyu and zhongli. (and paimon too). All voice actors did an amazing job 100%. I hope MHY let them dub it
Most of them actually sounds similar to the JP VAs, some similar with EN VA. It's good.

@@Elvyne On doit pas écouté les même choses car que ce soit dans les films, animations ou jeux vidéo, le doublage français est très souvent de très bonne qualité. Certes, il arrive de voir des trucs moins bons mais ce n'est pas du tout une généralité.
La seule exception étant les animes. J'en ai pas vu depuis 10 ans mais de souvenir la VF de Naruto et One Piece au tout début de la série était pas bonne du tout. J'ignore si la qualité a changé depuis...

They really did an amazing job finding the perfect voice actors and directing them to fit the characters as best as possible!
yeah it is so amazing!! Like the amount of emotion and incredible delivery brought the characters to life :D ahhhh praying they hoyoverse hires them!
What would be SUPER COOL is if they had a multi-language pack, where residents of each region would speak the language of the country the region was inspired by. So Inazumans would speak Japanese, Sumeruians would speak Malay, Liyuens would speak Mandarin and Mondstadtians would speak Deutch.
The problem is many regions are not based on one country. Sumeru is based on a combination of the Middle East + South Asia. Lots of inspiration from Hinduism in the naming of things and the lore, and the Middle East is also well represented in some names + the one character we know of who wears the Anubis outfit. So there is no one language you could do.
Liyue could be mandarin or Cantonese, Inazuma is clearly Japan so just Japanese, and then Mondstadt is based off a few countries as well though it seems mostly Germany. Yet there’s influence from multiple real countries, so there would also be no official language for Mondstadt.

fontaine literrally means Fountain in french ^^ + fontaine theme is the justice, aaaaaand how I can put it, France has a very rough and bloody history beetween justice and tribunals (think french revolution and what came after it socially). aesteticly speaking they seems to have choose the " belle époque" period as a main focus which was in the late 1800 in france, which was a very big period in the technological advancement side.

Usually, I don't play in french dub it games (idk if it's because it's my first language or if it's something else, but it feels not natural). But these people did a really good job on voicing the characters. I hope we get a french dub, I'd love to use it when I get to Fontaine.

Everyone just felt the same as the other languages which is so good but the Albedo's voice just was so soft that it feels like asmr and it makes me so emotional as well, I would totally love to play in French just for Albedo alone.
It's funny cause Albedo was overall the one french viewer disliked the most!

when Fontaine, Natlan, Snezhnaya, and Sumeru drops, I hope we get dubs like French, Spanish, Arabic, Russian, Italian and such because many would love it! The French dubs sound so good! And Zhongli's french VA sounds like he is the one that voices Hawkmoth from Miraculous Lady Bug.
Not an Arabic dub oh no. I don’t think that’s what sumeru is based off, also usually all Arabic dubs I’ve heard are cringe.
Sumeru is more of a mixture of egypt,persia&india

RE:TAKE OMG I am French and I have been following the Re:Take channel for 5 years now. They are really excellent level dubbing and the voice of Albedo >>>> anyway here they are brilliant
The guys from re:take have a youtube channel where they dub the anime and generally make fun of it while making a summary of it, they are really good voice actors and really funny.
As a French I was so happy to see it! Also, the VA doing Albedo is the official VA of Armin in AOT! And also Tamaki in My Hero Academia (but he did a lot of other animes)
The voice actor of Diluc is also the french dub of Jasper in Twilight, idk I think it’s perfect

I really like Paimon in French she feels not over the top and more well balanced where it doesn't come off like you want to temporarily mute the tv when you are trying to focus on something (me fishing in Genshin)it's not the voices of her i think the direction was the most issue but the cn is the most enjoyable other then this one

Well that's a nice thing, i speak french very well and, being very honest i would probably try playing it a bit with french voice pack, but for sure i would still be playing with the english one in the long run. However let's face it, it's a very good thing that players get a french version of the voice lines. I play with french speaking friends sometimes and i'm sure they would be delighted with a french voice pack! As someone who has seen many anime/games french versions this one as to be the best one i have ever witnessed the voices matches with the characters perfectly and their emotions too, it's hard to find an actual good french va for voice acting when it comes to fictional characters cause at the end they may sounds all goofy and becomes a meme on twitter

I think instead of having 4 major languages if mihoyo had dub nations in languages reprensenting them would have so much better but then many nation players would have demanded their own.
I feel the same way! In Tekken they have it so characters speak their own language with the exception of some OG voice actors for characters. It really makes me love and appreciate who they are. I wish more games did that
