No decent person would ever agree with that vile man. Shame on you for promoting him and allowing him to spew his nonsense in front of an audience of sycophants.

It is sooooo rubbish switching to a web page. CZcams doesn't stop, the webpage does. CZcams has video, the we page doesn't.
I don't want to sign in. I don't want your app. I cM comment on here as I wish and read others comments. I have committed to CZcams. I'm not wasting my time listening to partial interviews on here and then switching external locations and or apps. Life is too short!

The most important way to change politics is to switch to a voting method that counts all of the head-to-head majorities. Primitive voting methods count only one majority (or plurality), which is often a coalition of minorities on different issues. That undermines majority rule, destabilizes policies, and empowers extremists by making their supporters' votes needed by the rest of their coalition. Counting all the head-to-head majorities would create a strong incentive for politicians to support majority-preferred policies on many more issues.

Yeah we need Proportional Representation. The Workers Party of Great Britain are proposing PR. I know Galloway is problematic (to say the least) but their manifesto is mostly excellent.

      >bryanbadonde9484 : No, we do NOT need proportional representation (PR). It's inferior to the voting method mentioned in my comment -- counting all the head-to-head majorities -- because PR fails to create the strong incentive for politicians to support majority-preferred policies, and because it empowers extremists by making their votes important to the rest of their coalition. PR actually behaves similarly to Plurality Rule, because governing power is nearly always awarded to the party that received the most votes. (That party nearly always succeeds at assembling a majority coalition, occupies the most important government ministries, and controls the agenda of the legislature.) Because PR behaves so much like Plurality Rule, it produces two large parties that compete for the most votes, plus several small parties that hope to gain some power by becoming part of the majority coalition. The majority coalition is equivalent to a "big tent" party, just like the "big tent" parties of a two-party system except that the PR tent is assembled _after_ election day, too late for voters to have their say about which big tent they prefer.
Also, PR is a non-starter in the U.S. It would require a Constitutional amendment to eliminate the Presidency and make Senate elections proportional, and it would require an act of Congress to make House elections proportional. Neither of those is plausible because both of the large parties, the Democrats and the Republicans, can be expected to strenuously oppose PR. (I presume PR is also implausible in the UK for a similar reason: the Tories & Labour prefer the two-party system and won't consent to PR.) But compelling some states to switch to a voting method that counts all the head-to-head majorities would be straight-forward, thanks to citizens' initiatives.
To be clearer about the voting method I advocate: The order of finish should be constructed by processing the head-to-head majorities one at a time, from largest majority to smallest majority. Each majority's more-preferred candidate is placed ahead of their less-preferred candidate in the order of finish. The winner is the candidate who leads the completed order of finish.

Campbell gets a lot of stick, but he has spoken openly about his struggles with depression and anxiety and he gave an example of his mental health being a jam jar that gets full and then overflows. I don't think he keeps the blood of innocent Iraqis in the jar though, I think he meant it is a metaphor.

Alistair Campbell called Boris Johnson a liar. He then talks about accountability. He then suggests he should be in prison. Well yes. SO SHOULD YOU CAMPBELL. You are a fellow liar. Is this guy having a laugh? Have you heard the people laughing in the audience - not laughing at Campbell - but LAUGHING ALONG WITH HIM? Who are these people?
