This is the seventh map of veteran Quake mapper Than's new
episode, Deathmatch Dimension. "All the levels in this episode
were created by me over an embarrassingly long period of time
... Originally, there was no plan to release an entire episode, but
after I made (some), it seemed like I should do them all ... Since
then, I've polished the original levels and made another six from
scratch just to finish the episode ... (I) really hope people enjoy
playing the levels."😉 HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I agree! Considering he's been working on it, here & there, for the last 17 years, it's apparent that he definitely wanted a polished product.

I miss being able to freely use the NIN soundtrack. I wish those guys hadn't released a 2020 vinyl, changing that.

4:29 you don't have to change to the shotgun to pick up shells.

Well, for the switch part, you could see it through the grating, so there is a visual clue. For the shells bit, yes, I am aware of that! I was just cycling through weapons & checking things out at my leisure.😉
