Gooth I don’t know if you’ve made a video or discussed thus before, but what would you say students do for fun normally and how does this differ during the weekdays and weekends
My mean older sister Samantha graduated from U Of R in 2017 she loved it I’m gonna be an Junior in the fall at RIT and my other mean older sister Lindsey is gonna be a senior in the fall at St. Mary’s College Of Maryland
Hey Gooth, This was a lot of fun for an Alum, but your show needs more characters: who else is on your hall? Also is the meal plan still set up so freshmen have way too many meals? Does the gym let people in who are wearing jeans? (I got kicked out once.)
Hey man I cannot decide which university to choose among Simon, University of Illinois Urbana champaign and Santa clara university for MSBA program. Please can you share your views.
The school itself has around 6700 students but during the wintertime, the temperatures get cold so it’s not as fun to be outside. Social life is pretty great, but the weather and COVID-19 restrictions can sometimes make it difficult to interact with other students.
Hey Gooth...Thank you for this awesome video.. I'm in urgent... Please reply.. Is it possible to study agriculture in this University? Is there any course for agriculture graduate? .... Please please reply
Hi Ananya, thanks for the support! I don’t know about agriculture specifically, but there is an earth and environmental sciences department that you might want to look at. Here’s the link: www.sas.rochester.edu/ees/
Hi Gooth! I really love your video. I am admitted to 20fall ece MS program from U of R, and I noticed you major in CS. I am wondering if it is easy to find internship or full-time job in CS field from U of R?
Congratulations! I would say that when it comes to finding internships, the university definitely has resources to explore. It is a great school so I'm sure anyone would have a great shot. As for specific tips, I'll definitely be sure to touch on those in a future video so keep an eye out!
Hey man, I’m a data science major deciding between Rochester, Purdue, UCSD and Wisconsin, but I can’t find much on rankings regarding rochesters program. I’m aware that they opened the Goergen institute and that there is some good faculty, but what do you know about it having been here?
U of R’s a really great school for data science and research in general. Not many schools have their own dedicated data science major and since it’s similar in structure to CS for the beginning, you get a great foundation for both. The Institute sends out weekly emails about lectures, meetings, research expos, etc. so they’re really great about giving you opportunities to explore the field. Overall, it’s a really great place and I’ve learned and explored a lot, even in just two semesters.
Sorry for the delay! I’m currently a data science and epidemiology double major and really enjoying it so far. I was choosing between Rochester, a school in Massachusetts, and a few liberal arts colleges in the Northeast. It definitely took some getting used to at U of R because I was the only one from my year who committed but I’m really glad I’m here now
Let me know if there’s anything in particular about U of R that you’d like to see me talk about in a future video!

Just uploaded one!
Another idea could be going over the meal plans at University of Rochester
more videos of these are necessary. Especially with that brent fellow, he should be in every vid.
I'm in the class of 2024 for U of R so this is helpful, thanks !
Thanks so much and congratulations!
Yo bro, you graduated this year right? How's life going? How was the U of R experience?
miss those days in the freshman quad -- douglass is so fancy now -- I even miss the snow.
Meliora and all that
I can tell you put a lot of work into this editing. Great job !!
Thanks very much!
I am the class of 2020, and I am just watching your videos because I already miss u of r :( Great editing skill, btw!
Thanks man! I’m sorry about your situation ;-;
truly inspiring.

Hey, where is the tunnel at 2:30? I’m class of 2025 and that looks really cool!
Just got in! Great video man!
@4:30 You should’ve done a Kardashian shake with your salad🥗
Hi Gooth👋
Your videos are amazing!
Do you have any idea about Biomedical graduate program at U of R?
Wow very cool!

Hey Man,
I'll hopefully be applying there this year, any tips?
I have a video about that coming out in the next few days! Good luck and let me know if you still have questions afterwards!

Haha imagine being able to eat in class (covid means masks means no eating)
Wheres the best place to eat on campus ???
Probably the Pit for convenience. Danforth is generally considered the better dining hall but it’s rarely open
Trick question: the medical center (senior at the uofr here!)
How is the social life there? Don't you have any friends? Why does the campus look so empty? Not many students?

Gooth that’s good to hear man, what are you majoring in and what schools did you decide between for colleges?
