- Last November I had the pleasure of putting together this piece for Pennzoil celebrating the history and culture of the GTR. From sunrise mountain runs to 3am antics on the streets of Tokyo - This project had it all and was an absolute blast to create.
For 110 years Pennzoil has been pioneering motor oil so drivers like all of us can pursue our passions. Here's to the next mile we can all share together.

I was in a white rental Civic Type R FK8 in the Tokyo Aqua Bay tunnel when you guys blasted past me at 4 A.M.! That rumble approaching me from behind was just HYPE inducing. Made my first time in Japan that much more epic!

Two months ago, R34 GTR there was stolen by a group of foreign thieves. And recently it was found in Yokohama port. It was almost smuggled out. Please be careful too✋.

Ive shown this to people who hopped on the EV car bandwagon really fast. Whenever they ask me "why do I care about gas powered cars anymore"- this is the answer. This is passion, years of heritage that wont die but will only get stronger (rb26, 2jz), and just downright good culture and all the good turbo sounds to ever come with it. 🎉

That R32 is absolutely beautiful and sounds as good too.
There truly is no one that captures car culture as well as you from a cinematic perspective. This is exactly the drive I need to push on and finally get a 33 GTR of my own. I’ll come back to this comment when I get one.

I’m blown away by this video, it literally gave me goosebumps. You’ve done justice to this content. The way harnett media makes these videos, I don’t think so anyone can beat that. Nothing makes me happier when I see a glimpse of the GTR’s in any of your videos. Purely seeing this one dedicated to the GTR’s in Japan takes it to another level.
As a Brazilian, I was very moved and connected with this video, the whole experience of a legitimate GTR, owners, landscapes, lifestyle, really an incredible work, a masterpiece. You are an excellent filmmaker, all of this is admirable.

A Very Very Emotional Video Really Made My Heart Sink and Eyes Wattery. My Emotional Attachment With The Nissan GTR is Limitless & Truely Hartnett Delivered It To Perfection. It's Sad I Dont Own a GTR. But I have Atleast 12 Scale Models or Every GTR i Can Get My Hands On.
