BM Sir - people who are subscribing small cap small case seem to be leaking the stock name in the market. This is causing some people to front run the stock during the opening session of the market. On 8th July the new stock that got added moved up 13% then corrected 8% from the top, making a loss of 8% who bought that stock at the top.

My theory is : There is mismatch between higher GDP and consumer data because lot of people have bought homes in past 2 years causing people to have less salary to spend,hence avoiding and cutting any newer and bigger expenses. Also higher inflation in school and college fees can also a reason behind it. So GDP is growing, but people are cutting on extra consumer spends.

Instead of having a concentrated portfolio of 4-5 stocks with 7-8 tail positions, isn't an equal weighted portfolio of 12-13 stocks with 7.5% allocation per stock better? Asking as a lot of times, then tail positions do well but due to their lower allocation, they don't move the portfolio significantly . Pls help sir
