I did some renovations in an old police station that was housed in a building built in 1897. (This was in 2004 ish) There was an empty old metal file cabinet that they let me have. After I got it home and loaded it up with my crap, years later I was cleaning it out. Some of my papers had fallen down the back and under the bottom drawer. When I pulled it all of the way out, I found photos from a un-aliving of himself (that happend to have been an old friend of mine, and a police report from a child touching incident on a little boy (that I jnew) by his babysitter. I wish I had never looked! I returned the reports and investigative photos, but have never forgotten. 😭😭

I worked at an auction house years ago and one time we scored an old stand up safe from the late 1800's in an abandoned storage locker(I live in Canada). It was really, really heavy and big and of course we didn't have the combination. We put an ad in the paper(YES, newspaper!! this was before the interwebs) advertising a mystery safe auction.
The safe itself was a beautiful thing to look at. About 6ft tall and 3ft across, so it was pretty big and it was covered in gold leaf adornments. Something you'd see in an old spaghetti western.
The turn out was about double what we usually got in, so about 150 people or so and the safe would be the last item put up on the block.
The deal was that the successful bidder would have a locksmith open the safe in front of everyone on their nickel, as well as paying to get that sucker outta there when it was all said and done.
The bidding started at $1 and slowly went up in $50 increments, then started to pick up speed. It turned in to a madhouse!! Some people really wanted to get the treasures hidden inside. I mean, I was walking around the auction house during the viewing and everybody's imagination was running wild about what was in there.
"I bet iit's fulla gold! I bet it's fulla stocks! i bet it's fulla jewelry!" stuff like that.
Anyways, in the end, the winning bid was $3850.00. The locksmith cost $500. Getting the safe outta there cost another $350.00. Plus a 10% auction fee and taxes, put the successful bidders' total at around $5500.00.
It took the locksmith about an hour of futzing around before he finally opened it. Now, keep in mind that NOBODY left the auction when it was over cuz they wanted to see what was in it AND the auction ran waaaay over our usual closing time so it was pretty late and everyone, myself included, were a little cranky.
FINALLY!! The door swung open and we couldn't believe what was in it. Like I said it was big safe, and had a bunch of little drawers and cubby holes in it. The cubby holes were empty and all the drawers had locks on them. You shoulda hear everyone groan, there were about 20 or so little doors of varying sizes and no keys, but they still stuck around grudgingly to see the final outcome.
The locksmith went to work opening each little door one by one, starting from the top. It took about 10 mins to open the first one...empty.
Empty, empty, empty!
The guy who won would laugh nervously every time a door was opened, saying something like; OK, this one!!
After about 1:45 mins, only the die hards were left and it was about 2am when he opened the largest drawer(there were still about 4 or 5 unopened doors left) and a piece of paper slipped out and floated to the floor.
The guy screams YES!! grabs it and turns the page over and there's a little note, it says, and I kid you not:
"You greedy little bastards! You thought you'd get our money after all the shit you three have put your mother and I through over the years?! Not a chance!! You broke your mothers' heart and that's what killed her. At your mothers' request, we've bequeathed your inheritances to an elephant shelter in Thailand. At least they will appreciate what we've done for them more than you three ever have or will".
It was signed and dated Aug. 1962.
Suffice it to say, buddy who bought the safe was not impressed at all...LOL. The way I look at it, at least the guy has a good story to tell.

My dad recently passed, and while cleaning out his things, we found an old key to a Safe Deposit Box. Unfortunately though, after checking in to it, the bank/storage location no longer existed. Would have loved to have known what was in there.

Damn.. When I was about 8 years old, I found a crusty old $100 bill in a desk at an auction. They let me keep it and that's what I started my first savings account with. It got up to a few thousand just from grandparents giving me a $20 here and there and Christmas/birthday money but I blew it all as a stupid 20-something. But ever since finding that, the thought of finding old money and hidden things has been one of the most satisfying and heart-racing ideas for me. Decades later (a few years ago), I was metal-detecting in my own yard where my parents lived before me and my grandpa owned the property before that and even more ancestors before that I think - around an old sidewalk that my great-grandpa, who was a stonemason, built. The metal detector was beeping over the rocks of the old, grown over sidewalk and I started digging out the old rocks and then digging down a little and I found several old commemorative coins.. I thought it was old money at first until I cleaned them off but then I could see they just had images of presidents and then a paragraph about them on the back. But I was almost having a heart attack at the time - finding stuff like that is quite literally the coolest thing I can imagine. I found several rings in and around this old house too. I wish I knew about more old abandoned house places around here to investigate.
Try the ocean floor for lost treasures. Go as a team for safety against sharks, pirates, etc....Unfortunately most coins & jewelry must be return to the country of orgin.

I just realized me and my sibling made a time capsule with a metal box and buried it, is probably safe from moisture considering the a few weeks later my grandpa made a concrete slope on top of everything, but I'll get it one day... sweet early 2000s stuff in there probably 😅😂🤣

Yup, I remember those dolls. My mom used to have the whole line of fairy tale dolls. My aunt found a bunch of them up in my grandmother's attic and she had their clothes dry cleaned and pressed then she fixed any little issues she found on them. Now they are on display on the place of honor on our Christmas tree. 🎄 Thanks Aunt Carolyn!! 😘

I started jumping around like a crazy person when my son was watching this video I had one of those Little Red riding hood stuffed dolls in the late 80s early 90s!!! My mom doesn't remember where she got it and I've searched on eBay with no luck. Anyone know anything about them??

I worked in a bank in the 90's. We had to drill out a safety deposit box after years of no payment...inside was a .38 revolver in a ziplock bag.....and visible blood
You should definitely, do a video involving bebop and Bebe, wich at first appears as a mother and daughter making lip syncing videos, gets more suspicious the deeper you go, in every video Bebop and Bebe make, there are multiple signs of something that is wrong. Bebop mouths “help” in multiple videos, blinks in morse code, and has also used sign language very discreetly.
Comments tell them to wear certain colors or prints if they are in danger or need help, and they always do. Oddly specific things, like patterns, video descriptions, accessories, or video audios, which confirms it is not a coincidence.
And almost all of their videos are filmed in the little girls supposed bedroom, but if you look closely you will realize everything is the same over and over again for months nothing moves or changes, in one video you can see her walking through the bedroom door but if you look past her you will see a brick wall, a other shots show another door seemingly leading outside but the camera is always angle away from the door knob last of all both girls are heavily concealed by cosmetics and make up, if anybody knows more about this or what's really happening I love to know
