Great job, Scott 👍🏼.
Neat video.
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for demystifying things. People are getting in the middle. The old parts cost a fortune and are hard to find. Can’t afford the new stuff. Got a whole group now that are using any junk saws they can find. Same as cars.
It's nearly impossible to make this procedure look graceful. Nice work with the editing and no need to apologize about fumbling around. There's nothing hard about it, just very tedious.
Thanks. I guess the point of making this video was to show that this new T540 is built different than the old versions. You're right, it is a bit tedious but the next one gets easier and so on.
love your channel, can you do a vid on how to remove a clutch on a 572xp? can you recommend a tool ?
The official husqvarna clutch tool is part #597370701.
Nice Job Brother Can a Carb Be Swapped Without The Firmware Update If You Dont Have The New Firmware Tool Like a Manual Relearn ? 😎
Good repair. Hope that fixed the issues!
Me too!
Sad to see "software" now in chainsaws. So much for do it yourself repair on the carb.
You can still disassemble and clean the carb. Its the autotune module bolted to it that needs firmware updates.
Good to know. 👍
Any idea why a new carb needed replacement?
It had an intermittent running issue. I did all the usual tests and pressure/vacuum test and found nothing wrong. Replaced a lot of parts and still nothing. Then I found a pinched wire that ran from the coil to the autotune module and was certain this was the issue but was proven wrong. The carb/autotune module was the only thing left to try. It ran good for me but the customer just picked up the saw and needs to confirm it.
Sad when you have to replace a brand new carburetor on a brand new saw, what a joke Husqvarna!
Stuff happens. It happens to all brands.
Little ripper!
Its been a popular model.
