I found the spoken word poetry of "Hard Drive" to be absolutely mesmerizing
Take a listen to Laurie Anderson if you find that comforting
hard drive song of the year 2021
agreeeeeeeeeeeed
2022 too
she's amazing. Love the new album too
What an incredible talent she is! Her music is enchanting, the lyrics are captivating, and her entire presentation is beguiling. Thank you for this wonderful contribution to the American songbook.
Thank you Cassandra for making my day and for being the soundtrack to one of the most beautiful afternoons in my life. Must be one of the most refreshing musical experiences I've had in quite a while. All the luck in the world!
Love the sound he gets out of that guitar. Phenomenology - Hermeneutics - I'm feeling it.
i always come back to this. I am so lucky this is free on the internet
There are moments in life that come and find you. Here it is.
this version of the ramble is SIMPLY SUBLIME
okay also this version of hard drive is goated
I say this all of the respect in the world for Cassandra, who is a great songwriter and performer - everything that Adam Brisbin touches is solid gold. I’m sure some of that is his choice to play with so many great songwriters but he also brings something totally unique to his craft that transforms and elevates the songs. Cf.: early Wilder Maker, the last two Buck Meek albums, all of Katie Von Schleicher’s solo albums, Dig Nitty, Johanna Samuels, Gabriel Birmbaum, etc.
Figuring out what he’s played on is a good roadmap to great music that doesn’t rely on the name or notoriety of the band or producer. The same goes for John Andrews and for Mt. Davidson.
Thank you!
About to go down all those rabbit holes!
The camera work on hard drive is amazing. Really matches and enhances that song. Good work
i love cassie's natural vibrato so much
Wonderful. Such an amazing talent. Her band are cool too. Hard Drive is one of my favourite songs.
Lol nice recommendation in 15 minutes yt ! I instantly got mesmerized by their raw sound

Lovely song writing and singing. The LdR influence is strong.

Fire crackling at 2:04 - love it.
Magical
This is top drawer.
I found you on eTown belting out a Merle Haggard tune. Wow! Is this ever pleasant surprise.
Cool!
Good musik🎼🎸🎹
omg bass clarinet
Love the use of a 40 dollar Frontman amp, impressive
I mean, it works for the lo-fi aesthetic
💜💓💜
I've had this album on the back burner for awhile and just started really listening to it. Now I'm kicking myself for not listening sooner. She's great! Is it just my imagination or is she maybe channeling Mitski a little on Crosshairs?
I can hear that!
i have always thought this also!! has been my least favourite song on this record overall because i always felt it lacked a bit of Cassandra's own personality (as opposed to hard drive or michelangelo which are just brimming) but i actually really like this version
damn
Похоже на Mazzy star
Anyone know what pickups adam has in that tele? I want to say they look like goldfoils/silverfoils.
Thanx for nothing kexp i found her alone
Anyone getting The War on Drugs vibes?
I wish people would focus on learning to play their instruments before becoming an "artist"
Discount buck meek vibes from this guitarist
Reassuringly hip.
this version of hard drive is shit as hell
millennial excellence
