Everything here is me!! I enjoy making food for family, I love the excitement I see in my husband's face when he comes home and there is a meal ready, I stay home and do my own little stuff, online classes and reading few books and praying....then once my husband gets back, we just spend the rest of the day together, play a card game, watch a movie...I am often being asked if I do not get bored..lol..but I don't, these are the things that makes me happy, like my husband would say to me, this is a phase, enjoy every bit of it, while you prepare yourself for what is ahead, especially when the kids starts coming, one wouldn't have all the time anymore.

"Boring" is relative and subjective. I see a person having so much with the people and things she holds dear. That can not be boring in any way. A simple life does not mean you do not have goals and aspirations. On the contrary, it means you can see the bigger picture and are reassured hence the calmness and peace.

I had to come back to rewatch this video because I hit a point where I became so ungrateful about everything and everyone in my life. I kept on wishing to be someone I wasn't and I hated myself for not being that person. I pray for God's grace to heal and love him, myself and everyone around me.

This video is so relatable. Usually people who don't overhype the things of the world are seen as "boring" and I've come to understand that it's okay to choose to live a life that is pleasing to God, it's not always easy but we need to learn how to find joy within it therefore we shall be gifted peace.
Also, once you're truly content and grateful for what you have, life becomes so much more peaceful. The little that we have will always be multiplied by God and that's a very powerful concept to understand (literally life changing).
God is so much fun and peaceful, as we seek His kingdom, we should also seek that side of Him too.
