I was in the exact spot you were when you were eating fish and chips in Perranporth in April. First time visiting down there since my husband of 30 years, Nigel, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in February. You and Ben were (and still are mine!) one of our favourite youtubers and had plans to buy a campervan and travel. Enjoy every singel second doing what you love and film it for us to enjoy too. After so long in humid heat and dryness we really aren’t minding the rain! Saying that, we were treated to blue skies and sunshine in Cornwall - can’t complain! 💛
Absolutely beautiful as usual. Just returned to Nova Scotia after 3 weeks in Scotland with our family. We did the usual rounds of Glasgow, Edinburgh and the Highlands but your visits to Bronze Age villages and stone circles reminded me of seeing a stone burial chamber in North Uist in the Hebrides. Really enjoying your videos and looking forward to all your UK travels.
Ah amazing! I went to Scotland many years ago but we're hoping to get back there later this year. Would love to visit the stone circles/burial tombs in the far north 🤩 x

Top of our list when we get back there but we thought it would be WAY, way busier even the quieter areas, realise this was before the main summer season but still! Love you! Thanks so much guys. We went end of May/beginning of June which would 100% recommend as you can still catch some beautiful weather but without the heaving crowds. Places were still busy, but as soon as you get off the main tourist trap it's amazing how the crowds vanish. We'll give you some of our fave (and secret) spots when you make it there 😘 💕 xx

Hi Chesca and Ben,👋 Great to have you back on my tv screen. Lovely start to your UK adventure, showing us some hidden gems of Cornwall. Yes our home country is a wonderful place. I will be spending my next few adventures on home soil. Because my Europe trip this year went horribly wrong. I was taken ill in Austria where I spent 8 weeks in hospital, with sepsis and kidney failure (4 weeks in a coma) all very scary when you're a solo traveller. I'm home now, and building up my strength. Looking forward to watching you in Ireland, it's on my bucket list. 👍🐸
Oh my! That's horrific! I was in hospital for a week many years ago with sepsis and a kidney infection, and I thought that was bad enough, nevermind kidney failure and a coma. Thank god you're okay now and I hope you're looking after yourself 🙏 Big love from all of us! x

I miss Cornwall. I was in Cornwall from Sept 2022 to Nov 2022, stayed at a pretty B&B in Launceston. It is great to revisit Cornwall again via your video.
@@OverlandingSophia Yes, it is a great place. I used to make day-trips to Plymouth from the campsite near to Launceston. There is also a very pretty church called St Noona’s Church nearby. I am glad I get to explore other parts of Cornwall as well via CZcams.
By the way, thank you to both of you for showing me around other parts of Cornwall. Perhaps, I may get to work on some projects, e.g. using some of the interesting stories about Cornwall for learning/teaching related projects.
Glad you managed 7 days in Cornwall, it's renowned for being campervan hostile, so it's nice to see some of it. I liked the stone buildings, I wonder how and why they built them, before the age of power tools, and how they got the precision and how they constructed the arches. I think we could just about build them today, but it would be difficult.

I miss Cornwall. I was in Cornwall from Sept 2022 to Nov 2022, stayed at a pretty B&B in Launceston. It is great to revisit Cornwall again via your video.
Launceston is only 20 mins from where we live when we’re in Devon, it’s a beautiful area! 💛
@@OverlandingSophia Yes, it is a great place. I used to make day-trips to Plymouth from the campsite near to Launceston. There is also a very pretty church called St Noona’s Church nearby. I am glad I get to explore other parts of Cornwall as well via CZcams.
By the way, thank you to both of you for showing me around other parts of Cornwall. Perhaps, I may get to work on some projects, e.g. using some of the interesting stories about Cornwall for learning/teaching related projects.

Glad you managed 7 days in Cornwall, it's renowned for being campervan hostile, so it's nice to see some of it.
I liked the stone buildings, I wonder how and why they built them, before the age of power tools, and how they got the precision and how they constructed the arches. I think we could just about build them today, but it would be difficult.
Yeah they’re amazing to see, that tunnel was still holding strong thousands of years later 🤯

Regarding wrecks, I've scuba dived a site in Cornwall where there are three wrecks, one on top of the other where they have all hit the same reef

Certainly not on purpose since we have always known it is gorgeous just not enough time and family lived up in Lincoln area (now Canary Islands).
