- 東方獣王園 〜 Unfinished Dream of All Living Ghost just got announced today, after two years since the last mainline game. And it looks to be a new Phantasmagoria game. We haven't had one since Touhou 9 in 2005!

The sprites for the bosses look like an improved version of the style they had in Touhou 9, I love it.
I think the game will have something to do with the beasts from TH17, judging by the paw prints on reimu's outfit, the bow on marisa's hat looking like rabbit ears, and the other 3 confirmed characters all being animal related.
Perhaps Kagerou will be in this?
It might be the Chinese zodiac. Naz, Seiran, and Aunn are all representatives from it.

If Mima were to return, this would be the most likely game for that, since Yuuka came back in PoFV too. But if he doesn't bring her back in this game, I don't think he ever will. I hope he will though, and if not Mima, at least another "old" character.

Can't say I'm too excited about the huge scope...
But on the positive side, it seems we'll finally get a modern Reimu boss sprite (even the Aunn boss sprite seems to be new), so that has me hoping that there's some more polish in this than usual.
If even Aunn is getting new sprites despite being as recent as she is (I'm pretty sure she's now the newest character to be playable other than Yuuma), then Seiran, Nazrin and Marisa will also definitely be getting new boss sprites as well.
I may have just gotten into 2hu in October of 22 but I played PC98 and I know one thing…
