It’s great to see what you do all day! I have a similar schedule- work on video edits, create new art, spend some time on the computer for finances and marketing, and pack/ship out art! 😄 wishing you and your family a wonderful 2020!!
It's amazing how much packaging is so necessary! Both for physical protection of art, but also for psychological purposes--- it's hard to describe positioning!

@@KatieJobling Lots of CZcamsrs talk about how they make their products, but I haven't found someone yet who explains how Etsy works, how you make a listing, how to calculate the price and how you get the shipping information. I think many people would enjoy a video like this ❤️

Oh dear Katie I feel your pain. We have been renovating our house (or I should say my husband has) which was built in 1917. The whole house needs to be done and my husband, bless him, is doing it all himself. The man is a machine. It's quite a big task but we're in no hurry but I know what the mess feels like even if it's as tidy as it can get. I'll be trying the roses you did a while back on a small canvas with 4 paint colours I think. I've looked at other channels and so far I always, always come back to yours. Mind you I'm posting this comment a year later so your house is probably all put together again.

Also do you use a spray varnish on your watercolors? Just trying to figure out the best way to preserve my watercolors.
The best way is to frame it behind glass. Protects the paint and paper. Dorland's Wax Medium can also be used as a matte varnish by rubbing a coat over the painting. Same for gouache.

Please think about looking into low waste / plastic free packaging for your orders etc. Leigh Ellexson (on YT and IG) has some great ideas for that. For example using a "Fragile" stamp instead of plastic tape.

Hello beautiful Katie---I just love watching all of your videos. They are so helpful to me as a fellow artist! I have a few questions; How do you decide which artwork will go on Etsy? What do you do with the canvas art that you don't post on Etsy? You also have mentioned, in the past, that you have artwork in a gallery. Do you do totally separate kinds of artwork for your gallery that you don't offer online? (Hopefully you haven't had to answer these questions a zillion times already.)Thankyou! Hi Jennifer! Aww thank you. I put the artwork that I’m happy with on Etsy. All the rest goes in the ‘sketch’ pile 😄 my artworks in the gallery are similar to my usually artworks, but are exclusively in the gallery and not available online. Hope this helps 😊 and thank you! 💜
