K3 Interface Fan.
No light leakage when the interface is fully closed to its smallest position, if opened up to allow for lenses accommodation or glasses 🤓 there is the slightest sign of light, but nothing to write home about, pretty much the same as the stock interface when adjusted in the same way.
🥶- Three levels of depth adjustment, easily accessible and simple to adjust!
🥶- Use the official charging stand without removing the K3 - also works on other third party charging docks like Zyber VR Tower stand.
🥶- Lens defogging effect is remarkable, tested it by purposely fogging the lenses and cleared within seconds.
🥶- Comfortable and removable soft leather, I did replace the cover with an ice silk cover and it fits just fine so it’s compatible with any other covers you already have and can be swapped out easily.
🥶- Ergonomic nose pads to prevent light transmission, personally I don’t use them, but I did use for the purposes of testing and it’s a complete black out.
Overall I love it and can honestly say, it’s probably one of the most comfortable interfaces I’ve placed onto my quest 3 with the added bonus of having a fan built in. Would love to see it come with some swappable interface covers, and I’d imagine that would put the price up slightly but think it would be well worth it! All in all superb creation KKCOBVR 👍 knocked it out the park…

Interesting. Is there some way to keep both the Quest 3 and the K3 Facial Interface charged at the same time with the Q3 Pro via split cable or something?

Thing is the battery wire for the Q3 Pro is hardwired into the battery port at the back so it’s not a simple swap out for the split cable option. However the fan on the K3 will last you a good 3 hours! And the headset will stay charged as you can “hot swap” the batteries. If you use the lowest air flow setting in the K3 Fan you will find the battery life in the fan runs a lot longer and tbh you don’t really need to be using the full power mode of the fan unless your playing a really high intensity game. The K3 Fan is pretty much back at full recharge after about an hour so it’s not so bad. You can actually run the fan off the Q3 battery 🔋 cable as it reaches the fan port so if you feel the fan battery is getting low that’s an option to boost the battery while still playing and then when your headset is displaying 50% just swap the power cable from the battery headstrap back to the headset 🙌
