I'm skeptical of Fossil because the catalog pictures show really shoddy and uneven stitches, which makes me question if that's the unit they took pictures of for the catalog, how worse the store merchandise would be. 😥
I’ve had Fossil bags dating back to the 90s. Don’t think I’d go back but did just purchase a Fossil bangle that somewhat resembles the “love” bangle. I like it better than the much loved luxury one.

I have two Fossil bags, both great leather. The Fossil sydney satchel is a great alternative for the speedy but much more practical because of the wide opening. 🙂

I would if the flap didn't have that little leather piece holding the clasp. It'd be a pain opening and closing the bag. But for an event or date nights it's cute.
Haven't shopped in years at a Fossil and I'm pleasantly surprised. Might have to take a peek when I'm at the mall.
My husband got me the lizard embossed Lennox for Christmas and also the matching watch. Both pieces are absolutely beautiful, and the quality is impeccable. I would highly recommend.

I loooove fossil. I've had and still have so many of their bags, SLGs, watches, and jewelry...they are so durable and age beautifully!
I used to buy some Fossil handbags during early years of working in 2011-2014, at that time the Reissue and vintage collection had various style and color, but their hardware and leather are quite heavy so I decided to switch to lighter bag.
But I still buy their watches, the oldest watches I bought in 2011 and it’s still working well til now

I have a Fossil small Wiley which is kind of like this one but the Wiley version of it. It is so versatile, the color is not what I usually wear and it is adjustable to be cross body or shoulder. It has a little top handle which makes it so easy to grab out of my car. I almost sold it and realized I didn't need to. Even though I have 3 Celine Triomphes this one is perfect for any use and more subtle in branding.
I bought the Fossil ring watch a couple months ago, bc it reminded me of the one I had in the 90’s. So cute. I have a few Fossil bags from many years ago. I don’t use them anymore, but they’re still in great condition.

I love fossils I have three bags from fossil. All of them are Crossbody. They’re very easy to wear. They fit a lot inside without looking bulky and they’re fuss free and you can use them anywhere without worrying about them getting damaged.

Fossil was one of the first brands I received a brand name bag from when I was a teenager from my mom and dad. I think it was Fossil and Coach that were the two brands I had handbags from and I still have those bags today, or passed them on to cousins since I keep excellent care of my things. I like Fossil quite a bit, they have a wide selection of nice leather and canvas bags, and of course as you said, they create lovely watches too. This Lennox bag is beautiful and timeless! Now I’ve got my eye on it also 😅
Yes! Fossil and Coach both bring me back to my younger days too!! Let’s not overlook these brands we grew up with. 😊

Memories, I remember buying my first fossil watch back in the 90's from Macy's 34th Street and I still have it and it works well, as long as I change the battery🤪( only in a Fossil store) So funny, I just changed into one of my Fossil bags. I have many Fossil bags, always liked them, I feel their designs are well thought out. I have followed their changes in design, but not happy since they have changed their leather to Eco- Friendly, or faux (you have to read the description, if it matters to you). I clearly understand, and purchased a few bags and wallets, but was not happy, because there is a clear difference in the leather, that goes the same with their small wallet goods. I wanted to like it, but sent some back. I've seen these bags, they are very nice, but I proceed with caution, they are very nice. Thanks for the memories😎

I always wanted a Jolie form Fossil. It’s timeles, practical. Their leather goods have always been top notch.
These bags popped up on y instagram feed and I even went and looked at them on their website. If I wasn't saving for a surgery right now, I would give one of these bags a go. I like the lizard embossed bag the most because it doesn't have a brand name on the front. I just don't like branding in general, even my Chanels are all reissue due to this. I think if they had that lizard embossed bag in black, I would buy it anyway, even tho I don't need another bag. But those are just so pretty and affordable - it's hard to resist. Happy to see you are talking about them.

I have kept an eye on Fossil over the years. There are lots of designs that don't work for me but they also have some good looking stuff. I have owned many of their watches and currently have and am enjoying their Raquel three-hand date watch in silver. It's comfortable, good looking and relatively low profile and an affordable take on a tank-style watch. I'm loving that burgundy shade for this fall and have been wanting to pick up something more affordable in that color. The silhouette does remind me of the Celine box bag! I haven't had one of their purses in ages so I can't speak to the current leather quality but in the past I've been impressed.

Fossil watches are great. Their bags though wear out over time, like a year of frequent use you'd see wear and tear especially on the handles and the sides. I know coz I have owned 2 Fossil bags before. Not the best quality in bags but watches could last a last time. My first Fossil watch was purchased in 2006, still looking very nice almost 20 yrs later.
Yes, your review has piqued my interest in Fossil. The next time I pass by the store I will stop in and take a longer look. A Fossil bag would be a nice addition to my closet of somewhat higher priced brands. Thank you.
I have always thought of Fossil for their leather goods. Great portfolios and wallets. Top quality leather great solid brass hardware. Their watches were a hard attempt at competing with Swatch. They are stepping up their game after acquiring Zodiac Watches.

I like Fossil and have a few of their bags. I like the bag you showed, but I am not crazy about the brand name being front and center. Also the contrast stitching gives it a casual vibe, and if I am going to go casual, I do casual -- this seems a bit middle of the road for me. I do like the lizard-embossed version best bc that logo is much harder to see, and the stitching better complements the texture.
The lizard embossed looks gorgeous and I agree, I always prefer when brand names aren’t so prominent.

I fell in love with it when i touch it, it is so soft. I actually prefer the Lennox over my APC because APC is super structured. The only drawback i found on this Lennox is that the hardware is so shinny which makes the finger print super obvious. Fossil also have this design look for the male messenger bag, which is a lot bigger, but it has the leather closure instead of hardware. It also looks great but a bit more low profile. I kinda hope Fossil to have leather closurer for this flap bag.😊😊

Fossil bags look good and have good value. Costs far less than the higher end brands. These particular styles are very popular across Europe right now. For next tier in quality, but not high end prices -- Sézane, Atelier Auguste, Soeur, Léo et Violette.

Affordable but very high quality brands such as Fossil, Michael Kors , Coach, and so much more are such great buys, but they are not so highly regarded or recognized such as Gucci or Louis Vuitton because they are not ranked under the luxury brand popular level..but they are really awesome if you are not so particular with branded designers.
When I think of Fossil, I think of entry level and quality watches. In thanks to this video, I just purchased their ring watch! 😊
The ring watch is a classic! I remember wearing one in the 90s!
I've never considered or shopped at Fossil, even as a young woman, but I have purchased contemporary bags such as COACH, J Crew & MK before . It's sad to say but true, that it would be very hard to carry one of these bags, even tho they may be well made. That said, the only one I would consider is the lizard embossed bag bc their name isn't embossed on the leather buckle keeper. This may sound snobbish but I want to be honest.

Unfortunately I've had poor experiences with Fossil smooth leather. I don't know whether it's due to their new 'eco' tanning process, but the current smooth leather marks really easily and isn't easily wiped clean. I've also experienced poor customer service when a parcel went missing- I never received it nor would they refund me. Luckily it was an slg not a bag, but I won't buy from fossil now as a result.

I think the quality went down. I had 2 satchel bags and the lether started to peel off from both of them on the handles. It looked terrible.
I bought a Fossil Mini Sydney Satchel and it satisfied the itch to get a LV Nano Speedy. Now I don’t even want the LV :)

I bought Fossil handbags and small leather goods many years ago before buying their watches. Their watches are some of the best. Have some from years ago and still wear them. Nothing new about Fossil. Some people have just been sleeping on them. If you know, you know. Quality is not always defined by the cost of luxury.

I do like Fossil. I have several of their bags that I love but I wouldn’t recommend any of their bags in lighter colors. The color transfer from dark clothing is intense and fast!
Same here, unfortunately. I have the Fossil Jolie baguette in camel and the color transfer is real. I am not impressed with the lining either...

The problem with fossil is the bags are mass produced in China factories that May or may not have questionable labor conditions
Fossil has good clean modern designs but their leather quality is hit or miss. i am not a fan of super thick and stiff leather. Thumbs up on the design of these but if the leather quality is not up to snuff it will be a hard pass from me.

I have to say I am not a fan. Hate the color of the contrast stitching. Makes the bags look too casual. I also don’t love the hardware and the name front and center. For that price tag, I’m buying a Coach bag or Kate spade.

You say they are a manufacturer but I believe all their bags are made in China. Thus the lower price point.

Many of the high end design houses have their bags made in China and then sent to them in Italy, France, etc. to have the finishing touches put on them and then say they were made in Italy, France, etc. By your logic, the price point should be lower across the board if the bags are made in China, but it's not. :(
@@suzyq8777I have heard that but a combination of made in China and a less "premium" brand does lower the price. You can also buy beautiful and well made bags made in Italy and France but not a "known" name for a really good price. 😊

Your girl just got to the point in my life where I can afford some luxury bags, so no, I’m not impressed with Fossil, Coach or Kate Spade because they’ve always had nice leather bags for $150. Let’s be real and admit these bags are great but don’t come with status.
