Being a writer in Highschool in the early 90s was hella fun...props to the OOGs and SKIL for puttin this thing together..Having my whole Highschool BOMBED and my name hacked with it by a whole rival crew was a funny story lookin back. Taggers know what another writers looks like , even without ink all over clothes usually. So many of my OGs have made comebacks , I'm talkin 55-60 year old dudes, and many old crews are still going strong in LA and SF. Fkn love to see it. Kids now dont understand the world without cameras and phones, yet we did everything by word of mouth or flyers... props to ALL the LA heads. Hands down after school meeting up and bushoppin with the homies is a memory Ill always miss...the busses are just about done now. Shit if you tried puttin your hand in the drivers window to open the door might get you arrested lol.. (Dont get caught with your word).
Ha! Ha! I got a pic from my 110 camera from 85 at Venice in front of the "Crazy" piece. Also when I got here to Chicago I learned Charlie Tuna was "Chicago 1000" I asked Ang 13 from early Chicago writing scene! I said I heard of you in graffiti from L.A. before Jurassic 5! He laughed and he used to poplock too you never know! Ser verifies my story they used to bomb down there in the Hollywood/ highland underground parking lot. I seen a piece in 84 "L.A.Bomb Squad." A dude that did a boy character in his book took me down there it blew me away. He was down with Zulu Nation. My dad used to be a bus driver on 217 line ha,! ha!
I sure wish people would piece like they did in the 80s and 90s the styles were so much better back then.

Another banger from the OG Skill. I was born and raised in the Fairfax District. Met Wisk several times and was amazed by his dedication to get up. I remember seeing his throw ups with numbers in them. I finally began to realize that those serial numbers were his count of how many times he got up. Writers boasted they were up, but this dude created immutable evidence of being all-city. Remember, these guys killed everything in sight.
Great work as usual Skill. Perhaps you might want to get other all-city cats like Oiler or Triax on. If you can find them. ;)
