- Coming out of the Northeast side of Los Angeles, 125 earned the title of "DTLA KING." He relentlessly walked the downtown streets, getting up day in and day out. He later caught the "freight train fever" and began painting small pieces on trains each morning for years-a ritual he coined "Trains For Breakfast," one in which he continues to do this very day.

@@213EyeeThe whole bus killing scene was pretty much a wrap when I got into graff. I was born in 1989 so I missed the golden era of bus mobbing. These are the guys I saw up the most when I would walk the streets from the Mid-2000’s to 2020. Spuna was also up a lot! Have to give her props. Wanted to include a chick as well.

Great interview! Just finished watching this... Wow. I'm about 60 miles outside of LA, and only go in like once a year so I don't see all the DTLA work, but I bench a shit ton of freights and I swear, I don't think I've seen a single train roll by without a 125 piece on it. And, always with the crazy colors. I still want to see a 125ER roller wholecar rollin' past, and more big detailed monikers. Those are so nice!!!

I'm from NE as in Nebraska. For a few decades it was common to see 125 roll through, and it was always appreciated!
I live in Oregon now and still tontoday see a grip of trains by this guy! OGGG still putting in Work!!!

This is very informative history for the NELA region. I wasn't familiar with it to that extent yet I'm very familiar with Playboy Eddie and some aspects of his contribution. That's funny he always do pop up Out of nowhere on you right there. I even painted the side of a liquor store with him right there and paid homage to "EDDIE THE ANIMAL the famous boxer!!

We where all like WTF..they where Hella COOL..They where older, but had some DOPE Tagging Skills..We asked where they where from and they Shouted DTLA KINGS...Hands Down That was one of the coolest moments I've had Experienced Hollywood.
