- In today’s video I review why I chose to return My Coach Swing Zip in Bubblegum Pink and why I personally did not feel it was worth the hype or the price.

Coach has restocked the Swing Zip March 2024 and has plans to restock in more colors in the coming months if you missed this restock!
Videos on why you return or sell a bag are just as important as videos about why you love a bag!

I have the green and I love it. I rarely buy coach from anyplace but Coach.
Glove-tanned leather is expensive compared to pebbled leather. Yes it scratches easily but it does age beautifully and develops a beautiful patina overtime 💛
I’m with you ! If it is a designer bag I buy direct from their website or store. I just can’t trust Amazon on everything.
@@BossLadyGrady I got this bag in bubblegum pink from Amazon. Coach reps will tell you Coach has a legitimate Amazon storefront. Coach even advertised this on their tiktok videos of swing zip bags. They're legitimate. She just got a returned bag. Mine was brand new, tags attached, no defects. 😊

I got the hunter green the day of the count down. The website had a 10% off discount on bags over $250 or $350, I can’t remember. Total I paid $376.83. It is smaller than I wanted. As a plus size woman I only saw it on petite girls on TikTok and didn’t take that into consideration. It does hold a lot and I love the color. I figured I’d keep it and if I change my mind later I’ll resale it. Love the purse content. New subbie ~Reis
Thanks for sharing this . I love the hunter green color. I was hoping they would come out with a bigger version of the bag even though the small little thing does hold a lot. I just think it’ll suit more people if it was bigger . Also wished the handles were rolled leather or something so they wouldn’t get so distorted lol

Oh good information to know. Thanks for sharing. I have quite a few bags that I had to part with because they didn’t work the way I needed. I don’t fuss with my bags. If it’s fussy, it goes back lol!

I’m glad you were able to notice that was not right for you. I know it hard when it seems contrary to popular opinion, but ultimately it’s your money and you have to live with it. I was interested in the bag myself for I felt it was coach’s version of the east west bag trend. But when I saw it modeled I realized it would be too small for me. Plus the colors weren’t giving for me atleast. TFS. All information is helpful. The good, the bad and the ugly.

I saw a review on the Hampton and I saw that clasp issue as well. I don’t want to struggle or think about my bag 😂 whenever I see the swing zip it’s always a love affair with it . It could be improved for sure .
I was worried about getting a return too when I got it from the site this week. It came today and had wrapping and stuffing so I don’t think mine was. Straps in good shape so I hope it’s a keeper. I like this style a lot.

Thank you for sharing all these details. If a bag has that many nuances that are annoying, better to return rather than settle for it. Especially for the price. The Rogue outer pockets do that bulging thing with the most minimal items and it’s very annoying. I love how you welcome yourself back to your channel 😄 I do the same thing, mentally. Like, whew!

Yeah I saw this bag in person at the boutique and it just wasn’t doing it for me in person but online I was so into it lol

Thank you for sharing your experience! The swing zip is honestly captivating me as well, buuuut I have some concerns for it. The fact that the straps were giving you so much grief would be a reason for me to return it as well.. especially if it was obviously a return.
And you make a great point: with all the strap versatilities that other Coach bags offer, it’s hard to justify this price for limited strap options. This bag is a re-edition to a 1998 model, so I do understand the design.

It's refreshing to see a follow-up video about the bag, and the reasons why you returned it. One of the negatives about buying online (especially bags) is that the size is never quite what you expect.
I'm interested in this bag because of the space inside but the those spaghetti straps are potentially an irritation so it's helpful that you shared your experience.

This just took away my excitement for the bag😭. When you mentioned the size wasn’t how you expected, I’m probably expecting the same. I love the design and all but now that you mention it, it does look small.
@@hobijung1464 I still admire this bag in the shops because it is a really great design. It does pack a punch but you’ll see all the lumps & bumps unless you pack small
I loved how insightful this review was. I received my black coach swing zip from coach during the restock and was also thrown off by how huge the dust bag was! I really like my bag and find that it suits my needs since I don’t carry much everyday and can avoid having a lumpy bag. I do think the price point is high, but I loved the silhouette and size too much to let it go!
They gave you a huge Dustbag as well? I thought it was a mistake on mine lol maybe they do it for the straps idk

Coach has a legitimate Amazon storefront. They've even advertised their Amazon storefront on tiktok videos of their bags.

Luckily I got mine in hunter green, in brand new condition . Wasn't sure about the size nor price at first, but I figured its a wonderful alternative as an everyday bag, so subtle , so light weight with no branding & gorgeous leather. The more I use it the more I love it. TFS❤
It’s something about the hunter green that is gorgeous! The new “dark lime” color is also really nice. This is a bag I’d have to visit in person and try on brand new before I could consider again. I wish it did work out .
