Me and my entire 7 siblings born in Somalia and grew up in the UK, we speak fluent arabic fusah which we learned from watching arabic cartoons as kids. Mbc3, CARTOON network, al jazeera/jeemtv and ajjal were some of our favourite.
Alhamdullilah today its so useful and it allowed us to understand our religion better. May Allah bless our parents for making the wise decision to force us to watch arabic cartoons instead of english

@@RamatuBello-uz1br I learnt fluent English from cartoons too from when I was little, so it's no different to other languages. It's because the medium is very appealing to children in how it catches their attention (stark difference to reality, flashy colours and expressive personalities). They will easily pick up such things like a sponge.
With that said, it's a good precaution to make sure to supervise and filter what they watch if you feel it's not what you want to take example when they grow up. It's a slippery slope.
But did you speak a little arabic at home? Maybe something else that helped

You can learn Arabic on a site called preply, There are a tutor called Ranim A. He is a clever teacher that benefit students a lot, and he teach an hour for 3$ .

Wow! This is a fantastic resource for learning Arabic. Not only did you put the subtitles in the video but they are available via the on/off switch in CZcams which means it can be imported into a tool like Lingq and used for learning all the vocabulary as well. Well done!

I often watch Arabic channels that show mothers educating their children. My Arabic is at a child's grammar level, so these are very useful for my studies. This conversation with the cute child will be very useful for child-level Arabic speakers. This is because it includes a lot of Arabic vocabulary that we can understand, which increases our self-confidence.

نعم، صحيح، قل من يستطيع ان يتحدث مثله من اطفال العرب فضلا عن اعطفال العجم، حتى انا أجد لغتي تفسد من كثرة احتكاكي بالعامية، لذا ان تأتي الى بلدٍ عربي فصيحا وتخرج منها فصيحا بحد ذاته إنجاز 😅
