Thanks Willie. I was starting to get nervous since it had been a while since the last update for the Edge line. We use them at the library, and I was starting to think about replacing them.
Slight tangent; I bought an EdgeRouter X (no, two…) like eons ago, based on some of your early videos about them. It’s still running my LAN, with about 45 clients of all kinds.
I’d say that for this tiny box, that’s quite impressive. I never had to reset/reflash the thing, just tinker and change the config across those years. 😊

ES 16 XG updated no problem, no update for the ES-10X?
Good news. EdgeSwitch 10 XG firmware version is now 1.10.1. I left the older firmware version 1.9.3 on the Backup side. The update worked without any problems. 😃
Loaded the full version without issue but after your comments I think I'll loaded the Lite - EdgeMAX EdgeSwitch 8 150
Imo this is the best switch in this price point. They need to get hot swap dual psu and stacking with mclag before I can deploy it outside of side work.
Does this also apply to the EdgeSwitch 8XP, the one that used to be called TOUGHSwitch PoE PRO?
Have Ubiquiti fixed enabling jumbo frames?
Should this work on a edge switch 24/ 250w running v1.9.3 software. As mine fails to upgrade thanks
It should try the light firmware and if it doesn't work again, maybe reboot

In my opinion they are the best quality/price switches around... The Unifi series sucks... I have 65 Edgeswitches up and running
I'll add something that only these switches have. If you provide information on a network port he can tell you all the connected devices and their IP addresses even if they are different networks or VLANs and as if he were using wireshark or the Linux netdiscover command. Have you ever noticed it? this thing is very useful and I haven't found it in any other high end switch!!
What's the point of spending time on new firmware when you can't even buy the switches? How many *years* has it been since the ES-16-XG was available for purchase....4....more?
Until they actually have product that can be purchased I'm still considering it a dead product line and will continue to avoid it. They have 3 of 15 different models of switches available on their store currently....how impressive 🙄
