After completion of the Beginner and Intermediate Revit Course, you’re ready to master the industry’s leading 3D software, Revit in this Advanced Revit Course.
    What is Revit?
Revit is a BIM (building information modelling) software that creates intelligent 3D models of buildings which can be used to produce construction documentation drawings and design presentations. Revit is a building-specific solution for design and documentation and is currently the industry’s leading software for BIM. Revit is used for conceptual design, 3D parametric modelling, detailed design documentation, multi-discipline coordination, modelling building components, analysing and simulating systems and structures, iterating and visualising architectural designs, building performance analysis and more.
    Why learn Revit?
Revit not only allows architects to design and model 3D solutions, but the BIM software also allows for seamless collaboration between disciplines which makes working with structural engineers, other designers, and MEP consultants incredibly efficient.
    Why learn Revit with Kyle?
Let’s face it. Learning software is often complicated and difficult. Doing it by yourself makes it even harder! It doesn’t need to be that way. In this Advanced Revit Course, you will be learning from a Master of Architecture student who has practical Revit experience across four architectural firms (which all use Revit as the primary design and documentation tool). You will be able to follow along to learn the skills and confidence you need to use Revit efficiently in a professional setting.
You can spend days, weeks or months learning Revit by yourself, and not necessarily learning it the right way. In Kyle’s 200+ lesson course, you can fast-track that journey to gain the skills to design and model in Revit at a professional level.
Most online Revit tutorials or courses are boring, slow going and demonstrate incorrect practices. Trust me, I’ve found that out the hard way. If you’ve watched Kyle’s videos before, you’d know that these Revit tutorials are fun, fast and easy to follow.
If you want to learn Revit the in a fun, fast and easy way, check out the full Revit course (200+ Revit tutorials) on my website: successfularchistudent.com/re...

Hi Kyle, came across your channel and as a Revit teacher for 10 years, you are doing a great job of explaining how to use Revit's tools. Well done!

You hit it right on the money when you said “it’s better to get the wall thickness created early rather then later”. I currently work this way as a CAD student and it is the biggest headache when a house needs to be 30x40’ but my dimensions come out to 30’2 1/16”x40’5 1/2”. These things are very important in the industry. Thank you for the great videos I can’t express how much you’ve helped me

If anyone is seriously wanting to learn the ins and outs of revit I recommend you do the same. This guy is a true professional and shows you the correct way to do things. Phenomenal content 👏🏽 👏🏽

Quick question! Say you want to make a standarized detail in revit. Which you can import to a project. Which approach is the best way to do this?

Mate, how do you Auto align Section markers, grid heads using the annotation crop ? Reason i asked was because i did something in Revit accidently and for some reason the outcome is by dragging the view crop with my annotation crop turned on over section and grid heads, they automatically adjust to align with the crop view line where ever i adjusted the location - its amazing. Would like to know so i can do the settings so the x- axis grids heads and section heads do the same as they currently dont. The Y-access does this which i accidently. I am stumped but its an amazing feature without having to individually drag and align each section head to align.

    T H A N K S .
After 10 years in the architecture I need to change my job and now revit is required almost everywhere.
I watched your all 3 courses, it's time to download the revit trial and try it all:)
It's much easier to learn it if you worked in autocad and 3ds max as you only need to learn how to do the same things in revit and add only some new stuff to it.
I wish autocad had some of these functionalities like making dimensions in a line and then place them all at once in a good position etc:) But I think I have some ideas how to do some things in cad in a better way.
    Good luck!

I never used these methods because I can't seem to make things fit in my details, like wrapping the text, is there a way to do this? I also like using arc leaders another thing I think is not available. But I get it, off course not doing this is not taking advantage of revit properly, also text very far from the leader arrow, is there a way to adjust this? Ill try to justify in the family

    • @kylesinko
      @kylesinko  Před rokem +1

I'm not sure about wrapping the text. Unfortunately you can't use arc leaders either. You can move how far the text is from the arrow in the family, which you may have already discovered. I think the benefits definitely outweigh the limitations. Cheers
