The best place to view the Elephant's Trunk rock formation is at Miradouro de Pedras Negras. There is free parking with a small parking lot across the street from the lookout and some parallel parking spaces next to the lookout. The path to the lookout is pretty accessible, it is flat, and the stones are pretty even and flat so walking is quite easy. Those who are unstable can also use the rock walls for balance as well. The video was taken in early June, mid week in the mid morning. As you can see, there was hardly anyone.
