  • Feeling a bit down after a great couple of days with friends, we head for New Quay but didn’t fancy walking around in the rain so carried on heading south down the coast.
We take a quick look at the beach at Penbryn and finally park up at Aberporth where we are cheered up by a couple of subscribers, Chris and Ed.
After a walk, tea and cake we head back down the road to Cardigan where we enjoy a tasty Indian meal in a boat restaurant.
Finally, we drive off in the dark in search of our park up for the night.
This episode was filmed 18th September 2021.

i really love your channel. I have travelled in a pop up camper a few years ago. I loved it and now i'm saving for a small pop up camper to travel in when i am able to live off my pension. People keep telling my i'm crazy, i am to old at 56 yrs, the van is too small...you are showing me with every video that a big camper of 7mtr or more is not necessary to travel for a longer period of time. Thank you for doing this, i will follow you until the day you stop travelling

Greetings from Holland Carol and Ken, we are living close to the German border, but follow your adventures as just like your good selves, we love travelling in our camper, and we have just watched the latest film with increasing amusement, as you travelled towards Cardigan. Our amusement increased as you drove towards the Indian restaurant, and we could hardly believe it when you parked your bottoms in the same seats as we have done a few times before. To make the coincidence totally unbelievable, you ordered the same food as we ate the last time, it was the most compelling experience of "deja vu " that we have ever experienced ! Keep up the great work, your filming, and music are great, and you should be nominated for an award of some sort for services to wild camping in in confined spaces! Best wishes to you both.

    1) There's an old Norwegian saying "No such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing". In other words, Be Prepared. The Norwegian word for Brolly is Paraply.
    2) The BBQ Shack looked interesting..... I wonder if they cook on charcoal and real wood ?
    3) Tiger beer with curry. Nice call. Tiger is from Singapore and it's delicious beer however it's like Tennants Lager from Scotland - Lovely to imbibe but huge headache when you've had a skin full.
The curry meal looked delightful, tasty and filling :-)

Even the damp days hide delights - beaches have their own beauty; and tables with plenty wood for you find the cracks between... ;~)
I could almost smell that food. I cook a lot of Indian food (and am actually embarking on some videos by popular demand on spices, spicing and simmering!) and on the whole do not particularly favour such restaurants, as all too often they use stock bought sauces and prepare food too far in advance... but that looked pukka. Just right to see you through the night...wherever it was you landed up!!! Bring on the next one. YAM xx

With difficulty. We use an app called pocket Earth which allows us to download any country for offline use. You need a signal for that app to be able to calculate a route but we don’t bother with that. We use it more like a paper map which can track our position and just eyeball the route. Once we have a signal we switch to Google maps.
