So far out of the box I've had to sand the wheel wells to make keep the front wheels from rubbing on the body in turns. I also had to take suspension arms off and sand them where the hinge pin goes as they were hanging up from bits of sprue still on the pieces! One arm still doesn't travel freely I'm still trying to figure out where the issue is.. hopefully not a bent hinge pin from the factory because I don't have the tools to straighten something that small.
Rather have no suspension than have the arms lock in the "up" position.
They are very similar in design to gen 1 xmods but the quality is not there..needs alot of work done just so you can drive it in a straight line or turn in both directions.
Plus side the rechargeable battery lasts a good amount on a single charge and the controller while cheap feeling works very well and has trims.
Also I like the motor mount design. Super easy to change out motors if/when option parts become available.
I'm still undecided whether it was worth $50 or not.

@@techep3 if it’s a plastic piece, it may be stupid but if it’s color and paint it on, I think it looks good like I said I’m painting it on my Durango hellcat. I wouldn’t leave a piece of plastic on, but it’s no different than painting your brake calipers a color.

idk if u showed how to put the batteries in but im having trouble. Mine requires 4 AAA batteries and i dont understand how to put in the batteries.
Remove the clip that they use to screw car into box. It’s hooked into radio box you need no tools besides small pry tool to pop it out
What other bodys models can fit on this chassis? I like the Toyota gt-one very much but I don't know if it can fit or not

What sort of paint do you use to cover up the lights on the inside? I tried one kind of paint one time, and it was a tragic mess :D
Tamiya acrylic paint. Lol Yes somethings can get out of hand really quickly with paint especially poor products
@@ProNoobRC Thank you! I'll have to look for that. I used a combination of electrical tape and hot glue for my one successful attempt at this, but I'd like to do something less... gluey :D
