Wouldn't surprise me, they pretty much did the same to Vicarious Visions, absorbing all those employees JUST to focus on Call of Duty, I can see them doing the same to Toys for Bob & MAYBE even BEENOX as well.
Vicarious was folded into Blizzard.
@@Tommy_Wimmer - Ah my mistake, I could've sworn the articles from back when the news broke that Vicarious Visions was no more, was that they and many other studios were now pretty much Call of Duty support studios.
I really hope that this is not true with Toys for Bob shutting down. Cause if this is true, that's gonna put a wrench for the Skylanders Franchise to come back. And I really want one of my favourite childhood franchises to come back after being absent for nearly seven to eight years.

Didnt Phil Spencer say this was gonna give teams more freedom to do what they want...why wouldn't they let them do a new crash new spyro or a new tony hawk? Then they do this. Such a bad move.

If Toys For Bob is gone, would Activision just get members at Beenox to do Spyro 4, or are they also part of COD now or been shutdown? Either way I pray this rumor is false cuz it's bad enough that the devs have to leave their jobs (Hope all of them are able to recover n find new jobs this year cuz their talents don't deserve to get wasted like this), but now shutdown, are u f-ing seriously🤦♂️

with rumble a lot of assets were reused so i don't think the budget was that massive so I'm hoping it didn't do as bad as were thinking. I also wouldn't worry too much about toys for bob shutting down as there are other studios who can make a crash game as well, but it does suck but they probably view crash as sort of a lost cause at this point bc it can't draw as much as it used too.
They should Use Spyro Then! Make a Spyro seasons Reignted Of Seasons of Ice and Flame aka a Console Version of those games.
We need more clarification from the company itself...
