I recommend trying to get the plat in crash team racing. It's difficult at first but once you get the groove it's one of the most satisfying platinums you can get.

took me 8h, i rage quitted multiple times, these players challenge me then run away and the hitboxes are so bad sometimes you have to chase them for 5 mins to finally end them
Just got banking 1200 Wumpa today. Took quite a while, but I managed to finally get it with 1750 Wumpa in N. Sanity Caverns. However, that’s not as impressive as it sounds. Turns out there were three Tier 1 Crashes on the enemy team. 2 bots and 1 human. But hey, I still put in the work collecting as much as I could to stash that Wumpa.
The mindless dingodile spins took a toll on my mental over those two days. 😂 I haven’t attempted the plat on RE4 Remake, I’ve finished the game and loved it. When/if I finally get to the RE series for this channel I’d be down to do that or 2 first for sure. RE might just be my favorite gaming series.
I think I’m in the statistical minority on this opinion but I actually appreciate a game without skilled based match making. We see it in so many multiplayer games and I miss the days where you were able to see your improvement in matches as you slowly went from getting destroyed every game to being able to keep up to eventually being on the top. Personal preference to me but I totally understand your side and the value that adds.

From the little bit of double XP I used I can say it would make the grind feel so much better. You see the progression FAST!

in order to win you just need a friend who does combat with the enemy team and rest of the players grind wumpa
It’s actually not super difficult at the moment but as time goes on and the player base is lower it might become more and more challenging.
