After I saw your items on CZcams about this plane, I did buy the FMS Ranger 1800mm last week.
I didn’t fly yet because the windy en rainy weather her in the Netherlands in this period.
But I’m looking forward to do so. Thanks for your reviews and great tips, special the build and radio set-up I like.

What a relaxing beautiful flying plane! It's a pure pleasure. Bigger planes are flying better.
And regarding to the sound, from the childhood, when I hear a long annoying roar of a turboprop (An-24, An-12) from the height, I tell myself: finally it gets late in the day now. And really, the sky fades, the city's noise calms down, and you could hear the planes.
This is a fantastic flier. As I’ve said before, FMS has a knack for designing big planes that don’t require 6S. Even though I have to remove the wings for transport, the pin/socket connectors make reattaching them no big deal. Thanks for providing the content you do.

I love your videos and vicariously live my RC life through you. I used to do a lot of balsa wood and Monocoat flying back in the day but boy oh boy are you getting me excited with this timber like Ranger plane. anyway, I watch most of all your videos, and I wonder why you don't put some kind of action cam in your planes so we can get a plane view once in a blue moon

I Regularly watch and holy crap dude, it’s time to build a huge 100ftx 50ft metal building out back and get the plane overflow out of the living room 😳 lol. Camera crew gonna file for divo soon haha. Trust me she will love you long time for getting her beautiful living room back. Plus you can keep the hay safe and dry in the building whole rainy season so the huge rc hangar will pay for itself over time 😃

Just went to my VERY (like 2miles from my house) local club over the weekend to meet and see about joining the group. Met with several people while they were doing a soaring contest. There were a few other newbies there trying to join, and the general consensus was, this particular group was a bit stand-off-ish about new people. I have not seen this being the norm, at least online with folks like yourself, and flite test, etc. Maybe it was because of the contest they were a bit pre-occupied, but I will try to return this weekend if the weather is good to see if I can make any headway, because otherwise it may be challenging to find places to fly and people to assist with training and advice. Dis-heartening to say the least.
This is a real issue! Fortunately there's a lot of people that belong to clubs, and usually you'll just need to get with one of the leaders to get hooked up with them. Have you tried finding a web site for them? Might be a good way to connect, if they were tied up, that might be a tough time to receive a new pilot??? Either way, I wish you the best of luck, and keep at it. If it's that close, fight to get in and be a part of it!!!!

That Plane is a Bargin for whatcha get back out of it.
9:13 20 years ago I went round and round with the guy at the hobby shop. I wanted more power for my parkzone slo V. he kept insisting “ it won’t fly scale “. He wouldn’t help me. I had a parkzone P51. A lot of glue, a few zip ties and a lipo from my parkzone Stryker, I had the best slo v ever.
I’ll add some more second thoughts- I want to fly that baby again! And actually, I’m surprised more people don’t comment about you landing on a DRIVEWAY- don’t they know that’s about 1/5 as wide as a lot of field runways? Oh yeah, I can do that. I can also play guitar like Eddie Van Halen. Yeah.

I fly the smack! Out of this plane! Lol… I roll that bad boy like if I stole it! lol… I ended up shaving the wheel pants back about a half inch so they would stop acting like brakes on my wheels when I land. I love this plane!
