The only released WWE talent I want to see in AEW is Ricochet; he fits right in with the AEW style matches. That's my take!
I feel bad for AEW talent. They don't even get on TV now and lo "Here's another signing". It's like WCW all over again.
It's nothing like WCW. WCW was all about signing OLD WWE talent, pushing only the old veterans and ultimately forcing the younger talent to jump to WWE. AEW has signed a lot of former WWE talent, as they should. Why? Because when AEW started 90% of their roster was made up of indie talent with little to no TV experience. Which is why when AEW first started, they had so many botches in the ring. AEW was smart to bring in former WWE talent who had TV experience. AEW also has kept their roster VERY YOUNG. Not only have they done a good job pushing their young talent, but the average age of AEW's roster is about 7 years younger than WWE's. Yes, AEW does have some older vets on the roster. Most wrestle VERY part time. But no promotion has more wrestlers who are over 40 years old than WWE. WCW would never push youth, and AEW does push youth.
Also, WCW hired many of Hulk Hogans OLD WWE buddies. There is no huge WWE name in AEW that is forcing AEW to hire all of their old WWE buddies. WCW and AEW are nothing a like outside of both airing shows on TBS, and or TNT.

AEW talent don't get on TV? Let's look at this weeks Dynamite...featuring Hangman, Willow, Mariah May, Ospreay, Kyle Fletcher, and Ishi all wrestlers who never worked for WWE. IN addition to former WWE talent Bryan Danielson, Swerve, Jericho, Samoa Joe, Claudio, and Pac. What about this past Collision? Featuring Hangman, Jay White, MJF, Mariah May, Trish Adora, Iron Savages, Riho, Mark Brisco, Orange Cassidy, KillSwitch, Nick Wayne, Jack Perry, and Mortos...All AEW wrestlers who never worked for WWE.
But hey, let me remind you that 90% of the biggest names in WWE history and the majority of the WWE stars from the Attitude era were all FORMER WCW TALENT who were signed by WWE. Why is it ok for WWE to sign talent from other promotions but bad when other promotions sign WWE talent? It's truly one of the dumbest things WWE fans complain about.

fyi - tk (or WWE for that matter) doesnt hire talent just to put them on TV. Thats a you thing as a viewer trying to manage the business side of things. I, personally, love all signings. The more the merrier and not just for the TV show. I like it for the experience they can bring to a locker room. I like it because they are also treated like IC workers and allow them to work the indies. I like it because i rather talent employed than not.

I thought we watch wrestling for the wrestling not a soap opera if u want that go watch as the world turns or some girly show I don't think of people who just watch WWE and AEW and TNA are real wrestling fans they just marks I watch all of them including AAA CMLL ROH GCW MLW NJPW and PRO wrestling NOHA and hell I even watch STARDOM

One person isn't really going to change the company per se. It's not like there getting Cena or someone the equivalent of Hogan to WCW. They are adding some crazy athletes,there is no denying that. Mone by herself, not yet. Mone vs Brit Baker will bring eyes to the product. Same with Will vs. Richochet and others. Rome wasn't built in a day, and as long as Aew is active, and there are alternatives to WWE. Then wrestling fans are winning.
@@DavidSterio-eg4jt Considering the FACT that AEW set a new company record for revenue in a year in 2023 and will break that record in 2024 with an even higher yearly revenue...I think those signings are doing something. If you are expecting a signing to increase the LIVE ratings, good luck with that. There are only a handful of wrestlers that DRAW RATINGS in pro wrestling and most of them are all retired. Hulk Hogan, Rock, Austin, Cena, Vince McMahon, CM Punk and Becky Lynch.
